I've attended many yoga classes in KL, and this studio has one of the nicest environments. There's a cozy lounge area, a small kitchen, books, crystals, art, and a spacious, clean classroom with lovely plants. However, I have some reservations that would prevent me from inviting friends to future classes: 1. Waiting Area: Upon arrival, you have to wait outside on a small stairwell until the previous class finishes. This leaves little to no time to settle in and change, especially if you’re coming straight from work, as the changing rooms and restrooms are inside. 2. Instructor Engagement: Unfortunately, the instructor I had was rather "robotic". It seemed like she was doing her own practice rather than on helping students. With about 12 people in the class, I noticed that several struggled to keep up, but the instructor didn’t offer much assistance or adjustments. By the second half of the class, one person essentially gave up and sat out, while two others also stopped following the movements. The lack of support created a vibe that felt unwelcoming; I was surprised to see a yoga class so disengaged. ※ If you follow the directions on Google Maps, change your search to "Rebarre Studio", it'll give you a more accurate result. (Karma Yoga School is in the same building as Rebarre Studio) ※ Free lockers provided ※ If you don’t have your own yoga mat, you can rent one at the front desk for RM10
A yoga school that’s definitely worth visiting. It’s my first yoga studio, fell in love after trying it, and the rest was history. Committed teachers who are always passionate about yoga and their teachings. They provide modification and adjustments that would work for you. A safe space for you to commit to your practice. In a nutshell, think less and come flow with us at Karma Yoga and let the experience unravel on its own 🙂 ♀️
I’ve been a student for this yoga studio for almost three years and I’ve never once regretted the decision. What I love most is that they don’t promise quick fixes like "learning a handstand in five days". Instead, they focus on the journey, helping me build strength, awareness, and patience to unlock each pose over time. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about the progress, no matter what level. This place has become more than just a studio for me. It’s a space for growth, inside and out. Highly recommended!
Not the ordinary yoga centre. Joined Karma Yoga during the MCO and now I have a community that supports my journey of becoming. A place that taught me yoga is not for the flexible, but for the willing. It’s about being present, having fun and practising self-love. Thank you Jen and the teachers for creating such a positive and nurturing space for us.
Safe space for yoga. Love the studio. Warm welcome from Jen and Adeline (our yoga instructor) for my first hatha vinyasa session.
I really enjoyed my class at karma yoga. It’s located right in the heart of Bangsar and has a variety of classes that I’m definitely looking forward to trying soon. Street parking is a little tough for night classes, would recommend parking in Bangsar Village or underneath the Sports Direct instead.
