The beauty consultant, Emily made sure that she explained precisely about the treatment, even the beautician Iqa, did a good job on doing facial steps one by one. The shoulder massage during facial is also excellent. Love everything about this place. I will come back here during my next visit. Top notch quality and service.

She spent 3 hours carefully working on every little detail to make sure my nails looked perfect, and the results are honestly the best I’ve ever had. Jenny and Patricia made my visit for my dandruff / scalp hair treatment very pleasant and informative . Despite the great service, I must remind those who are first timers, please inquire fully about the treatment that you are seeking for and don’t fall for the promo prices without checking the entire package. I was attracted to the affordable treatment price as it was competitive for a hair specialist centre. I was under the impression that the entire treatment would cost me RM68 but ended up paying RM428 because the RM68 package was not inclusive of the full dandruff treatment. The front office / customer service was not upfront about the entire package so you will have to be explained about the full treatment during the consultation.

The experience I had in this place was above and beyond. They open 24 hours and many different products to suit our treatment conditions. They even have salt bath jacuzzi from different temperatures, and this place I would highly recommend to all the wonderful single or couple to go. First time trying this hair spa. The service is great, staffs are very friendly, the hair spa is quite professional and wash thoroughly. And even the food is good~ You can spend 12hrs over there to enjoy their other facilities such as resting area to watch movie, food (included in the price). Overall pretty good experience here 🙂

I forgot to ask the names of the girls that did my nails and lash extensions but they were like my fairy godmothers. I had a last minute event and they catered to my request for an early appointment. My lashes and nails were done at the same time. It was fast and perfect- I left the salon feeling so good ♥️

However, I sincerely hope you pay more attention to hygiene. The hairbrush being used on me had someone else’s hair on it. I asked for it to be removed, and they did, but I felt too shy to ask them to wash the brush. So I had to sit there while being brushed with an unwashed, used hairbrush.

I felt so uncomfortable that I had to come home and wash my hair again, even though I had already washed it before coming in. just because I was scared of catching a fungus or infection. That was really disappointing, especially since the blowout was done nicely, and I had to ruin it just to feel safe.

This is unfortunately common in many places, but it’s a serious concern. Please prioritize your clients’ health. You never know what could be contagious…this is how infections and fungal issues spread. Given that your services aren’t cheap, I really hope I can feel confident about the hygiene standards next time.

Die Stylistin hat aufmerksam zugehört und mit mir anhand von Farbbeispielen besprochen, welche Farbe wir nehmen. Ich habe erklärt was ich möchte und was nicht und sie hat mir die finale Absprache getroffen. Meine Haare sehen wunderschön aus, die Highlights sind wie mein Haar sehr fein gesetzt, sodass es sehr natürlich aussieht und entspannt herauswachsen kann, ohne dass ich in 3 Monaten wieder zum Friseur muss. Preis-/Leistung hat hier gestimmt.

I have very fine and fragile blonde Caucasian hair and was so lucky to come across Geetha & The Met Grand Salon! Living in KL it’s hard to find a stylist that really knows how to do blonde colouring and honestly Geetha does it as good as my hair dresser at home, if even better! Along with keratin bond extensions which has completely changed my hair and given me so much confidence. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been going to the Met Grand Salon for 3 years ever since I moved to KL. Geetha is brilliant at doing blondes! It’s so hard finding someone that can do my hair, especially as I have fine, curly Caucasian hair. My blonde balayage grows out beautifully and I also get the super gloss treatment which has maintained the health of my hair, especially as I get it bleached. My hair is now the thickest it has been in years! When I first started going, my hair wasn’t in the best shape and it was thin, dry and damaged. I love that I can enjoy having both beautiful blonde hair and super soft healthy hair that’s easy to style!

It took me some time to write a review of The Met Grand Salon even though I have been there a couple of times. In fact? I have been a customer since they first started out at The Parkroyal KL before they moved to their current location.

Initially, I thought I was swayed because of the ambience. Walking into The Met Grand Salon Kuala Lumpur is like stepping into an oasis of luxury and elegance. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance is chic yet welcoming. I’ve had days where I would ask the owner if I could just stay a bit longer to get some work done at the lounge area or to just have a breather before I head home to reality.

I came in for different sessions—hair color, treatments, cut, wash, blow-dry, and even a color analysis.

Every step of the process was handled with the utmost care and expertise. The colorists at The Met are true artists; they took the time to understand my preferences and lifestyle before crafting a shade that complemented my skin tone perfectly. The result? A gorgeous, vibrant color that feels entirely “me.”

I have had different hair stages. From postpartum hair loss, to donning the head cover to cover my greys when I had planned on keeping it chemical free before cutting my hair super short to donate my hair to the Locks of Hope Association (to make wigs for Cancer survivors).

That was scary going short because I have unruly and frizzy hair. But they managed to create a bob that would look ok with or without a professional blow.

The treatments left my hair feeling incredibly nourished and soft, and the cut was precise, tailored to enhance my features. I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciated the wash and blow-dry—it was pure relaxation, and my hair felt amazing afterward. They have their own premium hair oils too that smells delicious.

I recall a time during the MCO lockdown and I was feeling really horrible that I could not get my colour and treatments in. I had just delivered my 4th child and was also feeling the anguish of the pandemic uncertainties….Guess what? The owner painstakingly created a DIY kit for me and even sent over the ashwagandha lavender tea that I love so much in the box! Her attention to detail is impeccable.

But the highlight had to be the color analysis. It was a game-changer! Understanding which colors suit my complexion best has given me a new perspective on styling, and I left the salon not only feeling fabulous but also empowered with this new knowledge.

Good service for the price. I went for their cut + c curl + treatment promotion package (RM272). Things to consider if you prefer a more premium experience: 1) the staff are mostly trainees, they are attentive and friendly, albeit not as professional as you might expect, 2) noisy environment from the mall, but that can’t be helped, 3) it’s a mall, so there is no washroom inside the shop, but it’s within reasonable walking distance. All of the above aside, I still like the final look and feel of my hair, and you get what you pay for.

Initially, I planned to do the c curl perm. After assessing my hair condition, Malcolm advised me against it as my hair was far too damaged to perm and suggested rebonding instead. He then taught me how I could still style my hair temporarily. I appreciated his honesty and I paid a fair price for the service including hair cut and treatment. Will definitely come back

Customer service is great. Until they try to sell a package to you. Mine started at 13k? For 30 treatments for dandruff LOL. When I said I couldn’t afford it, it went down to 4.1k. When my card couldn’t go through, it went down to 2.7k, then 1k then any amount of “deposit” I can pay to “lock” this package that is ending in a few days. I ended up saying I am not comfortable paying then going to a dermatologist. He said my dandruff is just mild and prescribed Pristine shampoo, to be bought at a pharmacy. Didn’t even try to sell me antihistamines for the itchiness as I said I already had some at home.
