Am from Singapore, holiday-ing in KL. Decided to have our lunch here before leaving. Im a lover of kampung foods and i must say this won my heart! The asam pedas stingray and lemak pucuk ubi was so good! The gravy was so thick and flavorful the double cooked fish with ulam2 and pekasam was so filling and sedap. Overall i just love it. The ambience, the servers If you love kampung foods and want to atleast feel the kampung oldie vibes with comfortable seating and air conditioned environment, this is for you, pls give it a try.
Assolutamente consigliato! Consigliato
Great Malay flavours in the heart of jalan chow kit... The double dinner fish was tasty crispy and the sauce that came with it was a knock out. The smoked chicken was really well charcoal induced and the curry was nice. Fresh salads came with with it as nice compliments.
datang sini for the first time and makanan semua sedap boleh repeat lagi sangat berbaloi dengan harga. portion makanan pun banyak. staff semua friendly. chef aliff sangat peramah for the food suggestion. suka sukaaa
The food is excellent and delicious. The price is reasonable and I love Petai Kachang with deep fried Grouper with Sambal. The blood clams with sambal and petai and Tempoyak are excellent. The orange juice worth clearing my stomach before lunch and teh Tarik are worth washing the lunch down. I would recommend it and there are other local Malay restaurants that cost less elsewhere outside of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Pictures taken on the 190425, Saturday. Misleading five-star reviews for this restaurant. 1) The stir fried chilli paste siakap was dry. 2) The stir fried eggplants soy sauce was salty. 3) The spicy coconut gravy prawn was bland. After our visit, i noticed this restaurant already had several bad reviews and my experience was consistent with those. Sadly, the restaurant self-claimed to be the ‘premium’ malay cuisine. Services need serious improvement. 1) Rude waiter. One of the waiter took away the unopened carbonated drink from our table while we were still looking at the label on the drink…even before our food was served. 2) No-manner kind of waiter. Repeatedly ask to take away our plates…eventhough we were clearly still eating. 3) Staring kind of waiter. Is staring at eating customers a norm for this restaurant? I would say that the waiter who took our order was helpful and polite. Sadly, me and my siblings overall experience today consistent with those low rating reviews. I wonder if the google five star review results from the complimentary bubur kacang..that we refused to have as it is not to our liking. I hope for others to make wiser choice when deciding place to dine.
Reasonably good kampong food. Portion is big. Be careful when you order. My favourite is the Ayam goreng kampung, omelette and siakap goreng.
