Had a really enjoyable dinner here at Kobu, the staff here are really attentive and the food quality is value for money. Shoutout to Chef Jeff, who paid attention to our preferences and even suggested the number of portion for us to order so that our meal don’t get too heavy. It was a delightful experience. Highly recommended!

Had the pleasure to dine here for the wagyu buffet. This is a return visit with my previous visit at the PJ outlet. They have revamped the menu and the variety and value is even better for the new menu. Absolutely value for money, a good treat for special occasions. The quality of the wagyu and the cuts are undoubtedly the best, no scraps are served here! Our chef for the day - Dani and the sashimi chef - Koko were enthusiastic and excellent at their jobs, provided us the best dining experience. Will definitely return and hope that they will be our chefs again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (If I could, I’d give more than 5 stars!) Visited Kobu for my birthday celebration and tried their new course menu. Although it’s promoted for small appetites, both me and my boyfriend ended up very full and completely satisfied!!! Every dish was impressive — carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious The experience felt thoughtfully curated from start to finish. A place I’d recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Special thanks to Chef Ethan — his warm service, and personal touch elevated the meal. Every dish felt like a piece of art, both in flavour and presentation!

Brought my family here for dinner and we were served by Dani, the cook himself. He was excellent, giving us clear explanations about the dishes he prepared and served. We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a unique dining experience, especially if you love beef. Absolutely delicious!

Had a great experience at Kobu by Wagyu Tavern!!! The yakiniku and sashimi were really good, and the service made it even better. Special thanks to Dany and Coco — they were super friendly, helpful, and made sure our meat was grilled perfectly while also recommending the best cuts. Will definitely come back!!!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Atmosphere was cozy and nice. We could already sensed the excellent service we’re gonna get as we walked in, and it did not disappoint. Communication was clear and all related information was explained to us. The food was just superb, with every dish carefully and beautifully prepared. Our chef, Jeff, took special effort to brief us on every dish, making it much more enjoyable as we savoured each course. He’s very friendly and was very attentive to our needs, and would always check on our food preferences. Our server was also full of initiatives, constantly checking if we’d need more refills. What a wonderful and lovely meal we had. It’s just perfect! Well done, Kobu team!!!

Had the RM888 buffet at KOBU KL, served by Ethan, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Ethan made the entire dining experience truly enjoyable — attentive, friendly, and professional. Every dish was prepared perfectly: • Wagyu cooked to medium perfection, juicy and tender. • Fresh sea urchin with caviar — luxurious and unforgettable. • Beef tongue cooked just right, flavorful and unique. • Australian wagyu of excellent quality. • King crab that was fresh, sweet, and absolutely delicious. Ethan ensured everything was served at the best timing and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. His service really elevated the whole dining experience. Highly recommend asking for Ethan when you visit. You’ll be in great hands!
