Their tiramisu is da bomb
We came in a big group of around 10 adults with 2 kids and were seated at a long table in a cozy private corner. Although there was a 2-hour dining limit, they kindly allowed us to stay longer as more friends joined later. The food tasted good with generous portions, and the staff were attentive throughout. The café stays busy from lunch through tea time, clearly a popular spot!
For the pasta, we tried the Salted Egg Squid Pasta and Cheesy Mr Mac. Honestly, it's very very good. My salted egg pasta is pretty delicious. The savoury is just enough to not overwhelm you. Added to that with the crispy fried battered squid, and you got yourself a delightful meal! The Cheesy Mr Mac is also pretty good. It's not too creamy, which can be a tight rope to balance with these kinds of dishes. And the portions, oh my God. There were plenty, I almost didn't manage to finish my food. My friend certainly didn't finish hers. For drinks we just ordered juices. It's okay. I mean it's pretty refreshing, but I wouldn't say it's the best I ever had or anything. The only downside of the place is the acoustics aren't very good. So the place is quite noisy. We have to sit beside each other instead of in front of us, since it's quite loud. So don't expect this place to be as intimate as other cafes. And the place is quite full. So be expected to wait a little if it is full. I wouldn't recommend bringing more than 4 people here. But overall, this is a very good cafe. We might come here again sometime later. Recommended.
i would come for the Tiramisu. it was so light and well balance. no over powering coffee taste. The rest of the food we order is ok, normal. no great woww moment. Then again, food taste is very subjective. atmosphere is lively. however, we were being chase out come closing time. no gentle reminder or anything. just turn off lights straight away. this is a first for me.
While my visit was spurred by the much-hyped tiramisu, which I found to be rather average, the rest of the meal was a standout experience. The pesto pasta was vibrant and fresh, showcasing a well-balanced sauce that clung perfectly to the noodles. The mini Mac n Cheese was a pleasant surprise—creamy, rich, and clearly a hit with the younger diners at our table. The Fish n Chips delivered on all fronts: crispy, golden batter encasing flaky, tender fish. This establishment proves that while one dish may not live up to the fanfare, the overall quality and execution of the menu more than compensate. It's a place worth returning to, and I look forward to exploring the rest of their offerings.
It's been ages since I last visited this restaurant, back when they were still at Plaza Batai, but I've always meant to come back. Finally got the chance tonight, and it was so worth the wait! Of course, I had to order my absolute favorite pasta, the Pollo & Pesto. I also decided to try some of their new drinks and finished everything off with their tiramisu. The pasta was just as I remembered – bursting with flavor, that perfect pesto sauce coating the grilled chicken without being overpowering. I was also really glad I tried their mixed berries lemonade, it was so refreshing and did a great job of cleansing my palate for dessert. And as always, the highlight of the meal was the tiramisu. That classic combination of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone cheese just melts in your mouth. It's absolutely perfect! I will definitely be coming back here again much sooner this time. This place is, and always will be, one of my favorites!
I had the sourdough ham & cheese sandwich, served with fries and salad and it was delicious. The portion is big and great value for the price. Coffee is great too. Service was also v efficient and the restaurant is v cosy and suitable for gatherings. Would like to try their egg Benedict, pancakes, pasta and pastries too.
