My claim (Service Request Ref. No.: 86C1362C74544E30) was rejected with unfair justification. This company rejected my claim saying that my purchase is having 5 year warranty coverage. In fact, the product description clearly stated the warranty is only up to 1 year. For a consumer, we are referring to the product description as advertised. When I submitted the claim, You are adding your wishlist on top of the product original T&C which mislead us to buy the extension plan earlier. You are so scary and manipulate the truth.

Very disappointed with the service provided by PolicyStreet while renewing my Car insurance. The price and T&C are not clear and some charges are not listed in the receipt. Ask for the clarification from the agent and no clear answer given. Sometimes the customer just want a simple explanation and not keep on receiving sorry and sorry. This is an unfortunate but a review is in order; I spent a whole day checking insurance renewal rates and finally chose PolicyStreet for the first time (and probably the last time).. only to be contacted few hours later by their customer service asking to TopUp the difference of 17~18 rm because there were changes in the system..
Long story short.. the amount is little but the impact on your transparency and your potential customers is a lot. I hope it was worth it.

Claimed from gmr on both May & June. Both claims were done on two seperate panel workshop. The claim process was very smooth and worry free. Dennis did help to explain to me the step by step process that i need to know and follow. Actually it wasn’t a Insurance Company but a building that includes a few company’s office in it included AIA, Jobstreet, Citibank and etc. A modern designed building of 41 floors, with a few food and beverage choices available such as Starbucks, Secret Recipe and Subways. There are more food choies around the building as well as a Hypermarket right next to it. However, the facilities wasn’t that good which malfunction of lift is quite of common here.

Bought MSIG travel insurance Dec 2024. Feb 2025 flight delayed and called MSIG for claim process.CS advised me to read T&C about what could be claimed. I then decided to walked in to PJ office. Staff there also not sure what I could claim.Anyway my wife. and I offered RM600 from MSIG.
Last week I submitted claim for flight delay . So many question asked from MSIG and adjuster . My friends who travel together had their claim approved ( they submitted later than me). They only submitted flight delay letter from airlines and boarding pass. I don’t understand why MSIG asked when and where were I informed about delay. Bought the wrong car insurance and requested for cancellation as I need E-hailing insurance. Chase for one week and finally cancellation was done. When purchase new insurance, it was still blocked as the ism system is not updated. Call back to MSIG and they keep saying already cancel but still same, fail to purchase new insurance. Called several times but my issue is still not solved, answer is only they will investigate and don’t know when will be the outcome??

Generali turned down my claim after keeping me waiting for two long months with poor and unhelpful customer support. My case was straightforward: a misconnection caused by an AirAsia delay, which led to costs such as rebooking my onward flight and one additional hotel night. Despite this being a basic and common travel insurance scenario, Generali refused to cover it.
I have held travel insurance policies abroad in the past and was never let down in such a situation. With Generali, however, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I had to invest hours documenting and filing my claim, only to see it dismissed without fairness.
In my view, it is better to have no travel insurance at all than to rely on one that gives false security and refuses support when you truly need it. Never again!

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent travel insurance claim.
I purchased a travel insurance policy from Generali for my trip to China. My return flight was originally scheduled to arrive in Malaysia at 1:00 PM, but due to severe weather conditions, the flight was delayed for 10hours. As a result, I only arrived back in Malaysia much later than planned.
Following the procedure, I submitted my claim together with the official delay confirmation letter issued by the airline. However, to my disappointment, your customer service repeatedly rejected my claim, giving me various unreasonable excuses despite the valid documentation provided. Even more shocking, your staff claimed that there was no record of my policy and that I had not even purchased insurance with Generali, which is completely false as I had already paid for the policy. This kind of response is not only unprofessional but also highly irresponsible.
As a customer, I find this experience extremely frustrating, unfair, and unacceptable. Travel insurance is meant to provide peace of mind and support during unexpected situations, yet in this case, I was denied the very protection I paid for.
If Generali is unwilling to honor legitimate claims—and worse, denies the very existence of a policy that was properly purchased

Very disappointing experience with this insurance company. Our claim for loss of use has been pending since June, and it has already been 3 months with no resolution. Despite continuous follow-ups — first with the Melaka branch and later with the KL branch — the process has been extremely slow and frustrating.
The lack of responsiveness and accountability from the company is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase endlessly just to get back what is rightfully owed. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, and I would strongly reconsider choosing this insurance company in the future.

They are cheap for one reason, because the service is lousy. I called a day ahead to get my car towed to a workshop, and the hotline person told me to call 1 hour ahead instead. As a customer I already give them an advantage to plan ahead but they ask me to do it last min instead?? I did not have this experience with Berjaya Sompo where they would arrange everything in advance. I guess you really pay what you get.

It’s a sham. I’m certain many others have fallen victim to this unethical practice. Signing up with this company is a complete waste of money. Today I have my worst ever experience here. My 1st time visit (suppose to renew car insurance) Generali KL HQ JSS. Very beautifully setup with lounge, sofa and modern concept ID.
My ticket number 1037 (running number 1033) took at 2.30pm. After waited 35-40mins only 2 customers done. Super slow.
Total 6 counters with officer but only 1 counter actively working. The rest just relax chit-chatting, browsing handphone or etc
Customer service officers here work with Sloth speed.
I thought HQ level service staff must be well trained and work efficiently. Pls improved ya.

My recent visit to the Liberty Insurance office was deeply disappointing due to the poor customer service at the counter.
First of all, there were no Liberty Insurance staff available to answer basic questions before taking a number—only the security guard was present. While the guard tried to help, it’s clearly not their role to provide information about insurance processes.
When I approached an Indian female staff member at the counter to inquire about the required documents for insurance cancellation (which were not listed anywhere within the premises), she was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. I simply asked if a hard copy was needed and what documents were required. Instead of providing a straightforward answer (which could’ve taken 15 seconds), she impatiently told me to just wait for my number to be called, even though it was a quick general question that didn’t require a full consultation.
This kind of attitude shows a lack of basic customer service and empathy. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to be prepared and do things right. Liberty Insurance was the first insurer I chose for my first car, and it’s disappointing to see that the level of service at the counter is far below expectations. They are quick to collect payments but unfortunately slow and careless when it comes to customer support.
After leaving to get a document printed (as no such facilities or guidance were provided inside), I returned and had to take a new queue number because my original one had passed—which I didn’t mind at all, since it was my first time doing this.
Thankfully, the second staff member I dealt with, Rafidah, was much more professional and helpful. Despite my documents still being incomplete, she went out of her way to assist me, even helping with printing and ensuring I had all the information I needed to proceed. That kind of service deserves recognition—thank you, Rafidah.
To sum up:
Poor signage and no guidance upfront
Rude and dismissive behavior from one staff member
Wasted time over simple questions
One bright spot thanks to Rafidah’s excellent service
I sincerely hope Liberty Insurance improves their front-desk training and puts more emphasis on basic customer care.

Went to renew insurance and park the car inside their parking basement.
Since during CMCO, only limited no of customers are allowed to wait inside counter area. Have to Q outside.
Time of Q depends on the crowd and just hope all systems are not turn offline.
Customer services are good and reasonable.
