I just changed my dollars to ringgits in their agency, and they were so nice, fast and the rate was excellent! I RECOMMEND THEM, oh, and their location is perfect, they are so close to Mon Beef Roti.

I have been coming to Kuala on holidays from Perth WA every year since 2010 (except when COVID hit!) and these people are my all time favourite money changers. They are friendly and courteous and always greet people with a beautiful smile.

Many rated best offer but not necessarily true. While other place can offer 652k korean won, here can only offer 613k for the same RM changed.

Staff might need to be trained properly in term of communication. 2x times I come and saw the notice they closed like 30minutes for something instead of talking nicely to the customer they talk roughly, look like they refuse to accept the customer, they keep saying try next store like roughly, it will be better if they said sorry ms mdm sir we got system broken etc then might need some time. I think I will be better than talk like shouting “try sebelah, try sebelah”!

I had a great experience at this money changer. The staff were professional, friendly, and very efficient. The exchange rates were among the best I could find in the area, and there were no hidden charges. I appreciated how transparent they were with the process, and the transaction was done quickly and smoothly.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I exchanged money at a very bad rate. When I realized the rate was worse than I thought, I told the woman immediately that I changed my mind. She pointed to a sign and said it was written there, implying it was my fault for not looking carefully. But she could clearly see I was confused, and since we were still standing there, she could have returned the money or at least offered a solution. Very poor customer service. I do not recommend this place.

Best rate but they are moving sooo slowly … after waiting approx 15 minutes they told me that they need the original passport for transactions above 2000 RM ( 400 € ) . Honestlt it s the first time in KL that they need original passport

They are scammer watch out. I saw the price 4.15 against US dollar and when i changed boom the price was changed to 4.11 which never seen in that area, i asked for a refund they said it went throughout the system they cant. Very bad rate in like 5 min walk you can find better rates unfortunately i found the rate 4.17. Scammers never get away too long with their scam they will fall one day.

不要信評分，我也因為看到4. 5星評分就去了換錢，兌換率很低，後來在旁邊的柏威年商場另外2間兌換店都比高，絕對被騙！我在這兌港元是0. 50，到柏威年裡面那兩間兌，分別是0.51及0. 53，足足被坑了一個猫山王，頂你個肺吖，好叉嬲呀！

I came to this exchange after visiting the exchange Jag in the Pavilion Mall, which did not have any Euro and only had USD in $100 increments

This place was much better. The rates were good and they had Euro in small bills so I could exchange all my Ringgit

I just found out there is a money exchange here which is very near to my place. Also you can get the best rate here. The staffs were also quite helpful. Just that very hard to find parking so you might need someone to drop you over or probably you need to park elsewhere and walk to this place.

Best rates in town, can use online transfer instead of cash

I recently exchanged currency at Hasani Munawarah Exchange in Giant Setapak, and the experience was excellent! First of all, they are open until 10 PM, which is a lifesaver since most other places nearby close by 8 PM. It’s so convenient, especially for someone like me with a busy schedule.

The location is easy to find, right inside Giant, and the environment is clean and organized. The staff were polite and professional. One thing that stood out was their attention to detail—they reminded me to count the money on the spot to avoid any disputes later. This level of care shows they truly value their customers.

The registration process with phone and IC was quick and smooth, and the exchange rates were reasonable. Overall, the service was fast, friendly, and very efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!

I had an extremely frightening experience at this store. According to Google Maps, they were supposed to be open until 10 PM, but when I arrived around 9:30, I asked the staff about the exchange rate and requested help to get change. They responded, but nobody warned me that they were about to close. Then, they simply refused to help me and brushed me off, leaving me alone in a foreign city with very little money — not even enough for a taxi. I was panicking and felt completely helpless. It was shocking to encounter such coldness and lack of human kindness in a situation where even a small gesture would have made all the difference. After living in Vietnam, where people are warm, helpful, and caring, this experience was truly unsettling. I hope this feedback helps the staff understand the impact of their behavior on visitors

Sudah habis Thai baht tapi tak announce atau tukar ATAs screen. Screen jadi ini blank saja. Biar orang beratur sia2 untuk 1 jam! No more Thai bath but never announce or update on screen. Let us queue for 1 hour for nothing!!! Don’t go here, u might end up with nothing without advance notice e

(2 April 2025). The line was too long to change money. For the long wait, it wasn’t worth it if the savings was less than RM10, so we went to the next shop that offered the next better rates. There were three other money changers around the area.

These money exchange places are near the San Francisco Coffee , also just on the opposite side of Oriental Kopi.

There are alway long queues, the process at My Money Master is smooth, also more simple than other exchange booth as no ID or phone number is required.

You may want to check the rates at all these booths, the rates are change everyday and diff from booth to booth, find your best rate at first. Some of them may has web sites – you can check the rates online.

Very stupid and ridiculous service, waited 35 minutes long time and after that the officer told me we don’t accept employment pass card that is issued from Malaysian government and insisted on it. When I asked why you don’t write a note so we can see and to not waste our time , his reply was more stupid, he told me if you asked me I would inform you like if what you are saying is logic and it will come to my mind that you dont accept government ID I use in immigration, police, hospitals, airport and all over Malaysia l. Have some respect to people time and write it down , also wake up we are not in the 19 century to insist only on the passport and ignoring my ID as a foreigner here got it from government.

Go to their new place behind San Francisco coffee nearby the old place. The place is busier than other money exchange places next to it. Even though there was a queue, the process was quite fast, around 5-10 minutes (I went there on Tuesday at 11 am). The exchange rate given was good and the Indian person who helped me was very helpful. Overall good service
