Machines Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Apple Premium Partner Store

I went to the Machine outlet at Pavilion Bukit Bintang on a weekday. Since it was a working day, there weren’t many customers around. At first, no one attended to me when I entered, but I was fine with it myb the staff busy ke apa as I wanted to browse a little before making my purchase. However, when I called a male staff member for assistance, his attitude was very unpleasant. He responded half-heartedly, and before I could even finish asking about the item, he just walked away. I found his attitude extremely irritating, so I decided to leave the store. An hour later, I came back because my intention was to buy, not just survey. This time, I was assisted by a staff member named Larry. He was the complete opposite, friendly, helpful, and patient in explaining and recommending products. Because of his professionalism, I felt comfortable making my purchase. Machines is a big company, and customer service should reflect that. Please train your staff not only to sell products but also to improve their communication and service skills. Working at Machines doesn’t make you 高人一等 (superior), cause that is the vibe/impression that the 1st staff gave to me tho. Humility and good service go a long way. 5 stars for Larry’s attentive service, but -1 star for the first SA’s poor attitude.

15 July I had a great experience at Machines! The staff (Hanim) was super helpful and patient while helping me transfer all my data to my new iPhone. Everything was done smoothly and quickly. Dealing with Machines full stop is an unpleasant experience. I would advise anyone trying to buy Apple products never to purchase from Machines. First they sell defective products. Then you cannot simply go back to the store you purchased from and they make you go to another location with their service centre which has to be within 5 days of purchase. This itself is a major inconvenience and waste of time and money. Then, they provide another faulty product which is clearly faulty when testing at the service centre. It seems they are also aware of this being a common issue. But rather than try and find a working product or provide a full refund, they say that we have to take it back with us, email Machines to explain this and ask for another exchange or refund and then go through another stupid process like this. Everytime you contact Machines, they say your satisfaction is our top priority. Honestly it feels like you are the lowest priority. I will never ever buy any Apple product from Machines and would advocate to anyone else never to buy from them if you want any peace of mind that you are getting genuine products that work and they will take care of you for any problems.

I went in to check NFC on my phone as I had trouble the last 2 days to reload my touch and go enhanced card. All the staff were very friendly and especially Haikal who assisted me and tried tapping on the front instead of the usually tap on the back of the phone. It worked and Haikal ensure we tried a few times just to be sure Kudos to the team and Haikal for such excellent service. This is a customer centric store that I would recommend to anyone looking of Apple products related support.
