KL Pudu Wai Sek Kai 半山芭为食街 has a rating of 3.7 out of 5 based on over 1283 reviews on Google
Do not waste your time. If you remember this place in its prime, prepare to be let down. It is now a ghost of its former glory, even at dinner time when it used to be packed, the crowd is gone. The food quality and taste have declined drastically. The once-famous and busy Curry Pork Skin Chee Cheong Fun is a prime example: they over-marinated the pork skin to the point where all you can taste is a thick, overpowering curry. The original pork skin flavor is completely lost. There are far better and tastier food options in the vicinity, but this establishment is no longer one of them.
The chee cheong fun is 4th generation now. It used to be very tasty. Big disappointment for this long overdue visit. The noodle is hard! The sweet sauce and curry no longer nice.
Char Kway Teow with duck egg has plenty of Wok hei and is most delicious. The curry chee cheong fun was good too. Fried chicken tastes better than Korean fried chicken. Marination was good and chicken meat was moist with a crispy skin. We found the wonton mee a bit salty. This place is unchanged after all these years.
Have a lot of hawker stall to choose for dinner, from noodles, fried chicken, soup and char keow teow. Walk way much better compare last time
Good taste for hawker food, must try the salted egg kwetiao and curry
