I recently visited this foot clinic for my moms treatment and I am very satisfied with the care I received. The clinic was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, which gave me confidence throughout the process. My moms foot condition has improved significantly since the treatment, and I appreciate the follow-up advice given to ensure proper recovery. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone seeking quality foot care.

Good on structural feet advice but poor quality support on skin issues on the feet. Just referred elsewhere within 5 minutes of arrival as could only do basic support and referred to dermatologist saying they only use basic over the counter creams you can get in a shop.
Thank you for the response and time though. However, my frustration in part was wasting time as I travelled all the way to TTDI for an appointment as advertising suggested the clinic would deal with skin issues and I was clear in the messages when booking what my problem was. I will add that my issue is connected with athlete’s foot – a common skin problem. If this is not within the expertise of the clinic, I am surprised. Thank you for the add on gait analysis but that is not what I booked for and I tried to express my priority a few times. A good clinic but unclear on what it can actually do for certain issues. However, thank you for your time as well.

Trusted and the best podiatrist in KL, I guess I could say in Malaysia perhaps! I’ve been Dr Lim’s pt from the 1st day and she is very good at her work. Not to mention Dr Lim very knowledgable too! She’s very gentle with me (removing platar warts) and upon follow up she does carefully assess and treat me accordingly. It is on pricey side BUT I would rather a professional to handle my condition and getting the right treatment with the right Dr. Recommended for people who want to seek for foot health as well. Thank you Dr Lim and the staff as well!

Fantastic experience overall. The process to book the appointment was seamless, the waiting area was relaxing and stashed with teas/coffees/snacks. Dr Lim was very attentive and did not recommend anything I did not need. She assessed my problem accurately and was immediately able to suggest practical improvements I could make in the way I walk, what exercises to do more of and what to look out for in my next pair of shoes. My painful callous problems were resolved under 30 mins and I walked out of clinic skipping! I highly recommend this place and they absolutely deserve the reputation of being one of the best podiatrist clinic in Malaysia

– The clinic was very clean and comfortable
– My waiting time was surprisingly fast, less than 10 minutes
– I explained the problems that I had and the doctor immediately knew what caused this injury then suggested some of the options and proceeded to the one she recommended
– The doctor was very precise and careful in her work, very professional
– The operation was rather quick you didn’t notice the surgery was being done
– Afterwards, the doctor gave some guidance on how to take care of the wound
– The price is reasonable since there are other options too. I proceed with the quick operation which costs RM250+
My toenail fully healed on day 12, I am very grateful because I can continue playing sports again
Thank you so much Dr Lim for helping me!!!

Pediatrician is a professional, detailed and gives overall advise on child nutrition and what to check, while being gentle and kind to the child/toddler. We love to go there as the place operates according to appointment time set, beautiful little clinic with ample of toys and decoration for kids to be entertained. We have stopped going to our usual doctor, who was not gentle enough for the child, and used to waste hrs waiting for the walk-in queues even after appointment. Love Baby and Beyond

Dr Yu-Ki has some of the kindest bedside manners I have ever come across. She comes across very competent and has the patience to get the full picture and story from young patients, even when they start out reluctant. Together with the kind and helpful office staff, it’s easiest 5 star review I have ever given. My warmest recommendation!

The cabinet is well decorated for a children’s environment. The nurse is very welcoming, available and attentive.
Doctor R. (I don’t put her full name) was really on a hurry!
She quickly prescribed us the medicine (which helped my baby) but she was so anxious to see us leave and to move on to the next patient, without listening to us, she replied that the vaccination program for kids in Malaysia is the same as in Europe!!!!!!!
We had to ask many of our questions and concerns to the nurse who took the time to answer us as well she could.
In my opinion the cabinet would be better with more attentive pediatricians especially when it’s a matter of babies.
And many thanks to the nurse.

We’ve chosen Baby & Beyond for all our baby’s medical needs since she was born though we live quite a distance away, but my husband and I think it’s worth the drive! We love our doctor, Dr Yiki. She’s really patient in explaining things to us and answering all our questions – as first time parents, we have alot of questions! And she eases our worries all the time. We like that the clinic is appointment based so we can show up on time and not have to wait at all. During this season, its nice not to wait in a crowded waiting room too. The service is great, and we get reminders the day before for our appointment!

After stubbing my toe and experiencing significant pain just before a long haul flight, I managed to book a same day appointment while I was on the plane to Kuala Lumpur for a brief stopover on my travels. Both Elaine and her front of house colleague were very friendly, the removal of my toenail was quick and as pain free as possible, and I couldn’t believe the price! They kept in touch with me on WhatsApp, advising me of how best to treat the wound while it healed. Hands down the best service I’ve ever experienced for an unbelievable price too! Highly recommend and I wished I lived in KL so Malaya could be my regular Podiatrist!

Dr Elaine is a great podiatrist, very knowledgeable with good eye for my problem, providing good solution and recommendation. Had my ingrown toenails consulted and treated here. Appointment was scheduled without any issues at all. The counter staff was friendly but also professional, I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in.
The doctor is very nice and friendly but professional as well. She took the time to fully understand my issue and frustration, and advised and educated me professionally with layman explanations. I felt reassured and relieved of my worries with her advised.
The treatment was effective and good as well. As I am very scared of the pain and told the doctor about this, the doctor is very careful and gentle when it comes to the treatment. She makes sure I am as painless as possible although a certain amount of pain is unavoidable (and mind you, I have been to some GP which has scarred me with the unbearable pain before.)
After the treatment, the issue I felt on my toe is significantly reduced!
Overall, I had a great experience getting consulted and treated in this clinic! I highly recommend getting at least a consultation here if you don’t know where els to go to other than GP for your foot issue!

We visited the clinic to check my mother’s flat feet condition. The doctor was able to diagnose her condition accurately, and her explanation was very thorough. Setting an appointment was easy, the female staff were very helpful and friendly.

Parking is available in front of the clinic, but it can be difficult as spaces are quite limited.

Customer Reviews
It’s not easy to describe how much Dr. Mark Reyneker has helped me but let me try. I went to see him 18 years ago when I was 45yo after a head of Physio at a hospital noticed I was flat-footed and my feet over-pronated. Long story shortened: when I bought better running shoes that he recommended, and I stood in them for the first time with the custom-made prescription orthotics, I felt I had stepped into a cloud and could fly out of the clinic. I’ll never forget that day.
Over the years, Dr. Reyneker worked with me to tweak the prescription, gave advice on better running shoes, and always helped me reach my goals, especially my running goals. I could not have run the few 5 and 10km races that I did without his expertise and the orthotics in the correct shoes for me.
Last year, I went to see him after my knees got into quite bad shape. I saw an Orthopedic Surgeon, started Physio and fortunately, Dr. Reyneker was in town.
I went into the appointment feeling really down, like I had to change my whole life and “learn to manage”. But I left with so much hope. Why? Because he really cared. He took time to explain what could not be changed, and what could be done.
Today, 10 months from that visit, together with the Physios who are working with me, I am walking very well again, and often completely pain free. I even walked 25K steps/day for 5 days in Europe recently.
I’ve just seen him for a follow up, and he’s given me options for different brands of walking and running shoes as well as what not to get and why.
His reception staff even did some research, and gave me various links, so I’m all set. They are extremely responsive, cheerful in a genuine way, and so very supportive of my situation and my efforts.
Dr. Mark Reyneker is one of the experts that I rely on a lot; 18 years is a long time. Maybe I rely on him too much. I truly do not know what I’ll do if he goes away again. (I haven’t told him yet that he’s not allowed to do so.)

I was looking for a specialist doctor to treat my teenage daughter’s in grown toe nail. She had seen an orthopedic doctor and a GP for toe nail removal, but the nail had grown back both times, and become infected. Luckily we found Dr Mark and he has effectively and correctly treated the infection and the nail and used phenolization to prevent regrowth and proper post treatment care to prevent further infection.
Dr Mark has expert knowledge, care and treatment and I highly recommend him and his services.

With reference to my husband’s review 8 months ago, under Ghee Lye Chuah.
The overall treatment I received was painless. Since then my issue has been resolved. I am back to my regular lifestyle.
Dr Mark is kind, compassionate, polite, gentle and professional. He gave me a lot of advice on the right footwear and tips on cutting my toe nails. I always look forward to his follow up checks.
He is also very patient while giving explanations and gives very honest feedback to my questions.
His service staff are professional and always have a heart for the patients.
Thank you Dr Mark and his team!
My unbalanced walking gait has been negatively affecting my lifestyle, which involves a lot of walking.
I consulted Dr Mark, and after a thorough
assessment with gait analysis he recommended me his custom made orthotics.
Two weeks ago I received my attractive
insoles and after I started using them, I find that there has been much improvement in my gait.
As always, I continue to receive great and friendly service from Dr Mark and his clinical staff.
Thank you Dr Mark and his team!

Ahhh the clinic has finally responded to my review and as usual, no responsibility taken for their lack of staff training or the terrible quality of their shoes. Just blaming the customer for not being respectful. What about the lack of respect from your staff that drove me to respond in kind?! Blacklisted me because after paying over RM6000 and not getting my orthotics or shoes for months and months, I am not allowed to chase your staff and ask what’s happening? What a joke! I will not bother with responding further. After all, a picture speaks a thousand words! Please look at the photos I have uploaded and judge for yourself!! Go there at your own risk!!
The positive – Dr Mark is a nice enough guy, seems knowledgeable and charming but it stops there! Unfortunately, he is completely let down by his team and his products. I have spent over RM6000 at his clinic and all I have received is stress and more stress! Firstly, I was told by Dr Mark that I needed to have custom made orthotics and that the office shoes that are available from other shops are not wide enough to fit his orthotics and that only his office shoes (Solescape) have been specially designed by him to fit these orthotics. Since I have to pay RM2000 to have the orthotics made, I decided to also buy a pair of black office shoes from him so that the orthotics can fit properly. I was told by his staff that the shoes are in the Singapore clinic and will be sent up together with the orthotics after they had been made. I waited nearly 2 months for the orthotics to be made in Singapore and they were finally sent to his TTDI clinic but without the shoes! What use are the orthotics without the shoes?!! And the shoes are not custom made, they are off the shelf from his Singapore clinic. His Singapore clinic gave all sorts of excuses for not sending up the shoes and they finally sent them up after another month of waiting but what they sent up was a used pair of shoes which cost nearly RM600 (see the first photo below)! When I complained about it, they didn’t apologise and just said that I would have to wait for another pair to be sent up from Singapore. Since I had already waited over 3 months for my orthotics and shoes, I ended up buying another pair of shoes that they had in the TTDI clinic. Less than a month later, one side of these new shoes had turned black from their original metallic bronze colour (see photos below)! I took them to a reputable leather restorer who has been in business for 20 years and was told that the base leather for these shoes are black and they had put a coating of metallic bronze on top but because the base leather has a low absorbency, the metallic bronze colour just sits on top and is not fully absorbed, so when I scuffed the right side a little, I used leather polish (an expensive imported leather cream from Spain) to polish it and the metallic bronze colour just came off! When I messaged Dr Mark about the shoes, he blamed it on the leather polish that I had used on the shoes and has refused to accept responsibility for this or any of the mistakes his team made in sending my orthotics without the shoes then sending the shoes but sending me used shoes and now selling me a pair of shoes at RM550 that are so easily scratched and not fit for purpose! I am totally disappointed (and disgusted) by their lack of professionalism and common courtesy. I guess now that they have taken my RM6000, they don’t need me as a patient any more so they just simply don’t care. Don’t go here – there are plenty of other excellent podiatrists in KL who are far more caring and professional!

I have been suffering from an ingrown toenail for around a year. Could feel an annoying pricking sensation when I squeezed my toe or even when I bent it. Only decided to address the issue once it got seriously infected and swollen.
Procedure: Ingrown Toenail Surgery (Partial Nail Avulsion with application of phenol acid to permanently destroy both sides of the nail matrix)
Price: Around RM2,500.00 for one nail (includes 4 dressing appointments)
Procedure itself is quick, efficient and painless thanks to Dr Elaine. The injection (local anaesthesia) was the worst part. But that only lasted around 30 seconds.
As for post-op care, needed to keep the dressing on and dry. Can’t drive home from surgery. Can’t wear shoes for a month. Best not to perform any physical activities where there is a risk of injuring your toe (e.g. heavy lifting/martial arts with kicking).
Personally, I did not feel any post-op pain (varies from person to person). Didn’t need to resort to painkillers.
First photo taken 1 week after surgery. Last 3 photos taken 2 weeks after surgery. Scabs forming around both sides of nail. Looks ugly but doesn’t hurt and is quite normal. It is part of the recovery process. Just treat it as a scar.
Wanted to do a “before/after” comparison but didn’t get an opportunity to photograph my toenail before surgery. The swelling/bulge would make for a very graphic and grotesque photo anyways.
Permanent effects: nail will look uglier and narrower. But that’s a fair trade-off for a permanent solution. I don’t do pedicure as a guy, so visual aesthetics of my toenail doesn’t really matter anyways .
Glad I found a podiatrist who specialises in dealing with these problems. One of my relatives who suffered from the same problem went to a hospital a decade ago – the whole nail was removed and no acid was applied, so the nail remains curved with a high risk of ingrown toenail recurrence.

This was my first ever experience with a podiatrist and I think Dr Pat was a very professional and friendly too. Great work and thank you so much, appreciate!!

I had my very first treatment at this podiatry clinic with Dr. Pat, and honestly, it was the best experience ever. At first, I was a little skeptical since the clinic is newly opened, but after doing some research, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did!
Dr. Pat was incredibly friendly, kind, and professional. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which made me feel at ease throughout the treatment. The clinic itself is spotless, modern, and very comfortable—absolutely loved it.
The best part? The service was surprisingly affordable, much more than I expected for such high-quality care. I came in with thickened skin (callus) and cracked heels, and Dr. Pat also discovered I had warts. She explained everything clearly and gave me proper guidance on how to treat it.
Overall, an excellent experience—I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Dr. Pat and this clinic!

I’d like to thank Ms. Patricia for giving me the best service in treating my foot callus. She was very attentive to my condition, especially since I’m also dealing with eczema (which I’m currently getting treatment for at another clinic). She carefully and patiently removed the callus without causing any pain or injury. Alhamdulillah, now I can walk normally again without the discomfort I used to feel. I’m truly grateful and I honestly think this is one of the best place for foot treatment — comfortable, clean, and highly recommended for anyone looking for proper foot care.

Dr Bala is very rude. In person he is fine, but through the telephone he’s a totally different person. Maybe he was in a bad mood. Receptionist is also very slow and incompetent

Went for ingrown toenail removal at this clinic back in april. Doctor Bala is friendly and is very experienced. We chatted throughout the procedure (which took only around 10 minutes), and he answered my medical questions confidently and professionally. While there is a bit of pain when applying anaesthetic, the procedure itself is painless. The anaethetic wore off in about 3 hours for me, and I only felt minor discomfort throughout the healing process. The doctor will instruct to properly care for the wound for a week, with an appointment with the doctor at the end of the first week to check on the wound. It will be fully healed in about 2 weeks. Now, my toe felt heavenly. There’s no more pressure in my toes and occasional wounds caused by the ingrown toenail. The removed toenail has started to grow back after 3 months, however I read that if you take care of you toe properly (i.e. wearing fitting shoes, avoid inflicting trauma on your toes etc.) you’d most likely never experience this again. It costs me about RM700 for one cut, which is more expensive that I though, but since I need three anaesthetic injection, the cut made is quite large and to the root of my toenail, and my wound is already infected and bernanah, I guess it is reasonable. I am very satisfied with their service. If you experience regular or even occasional pain in your toes, I highly recommend going to this clinic and get them checked.

I was treated by Podiatrist Bala Gopal for nail avulsion procedure. The appointment making was convenient, done via WhatsApp 1 week in advance. On the day of the appointment, I was seen on time and was done within 1 hour. Mr Bala Gopal explained clearly the problem and how the procedure can help, he also provided clear after-care instructions with the gauze, iodine and bandage. I would recommend him if you are looking for a reasonable priced treatment for podiatry-related problems. Down side is the clinic location; the afternoon sun heats up the clinic making it very warm.

It was very difficult to find a podiatrist who does house calls around KL/PJ but thankfully, Dr Bala came through. He was so kind and gentle with my 80 year old grandma. Reasonable pricing too. Highly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions about Podiatrists in Kuala Lumpur
What exactly does a podiatrist do?
A podiatrist, also known as a foot and ankle specialist, is a healthcare professional who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related leg structures. They address issues ranging from common foot pain and skin conditions to more complex problems like bone fractures and neurological disorders affecting the lower limbs.
Why would I need to see a podiatrist instead of a general practitioner?
While a general practitioner can address some minor foot ailments, a podiatrist possesses specialized training and expertise focused solely on the lower limbs. They have a deeper understanding of the anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology of the foot and ankle, allowing them to provide more specialized diagnosis and treatment options, particularly for persistent or complex foot problems.
Are podiatrists medical doctors?
Historically, podiatrists were not considered medical doctors. However, the profession has evolved. Podiatrists in Malaysia undergo rigorous education and training, including a doctoral degree (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine – DPM). While they may not be medical doctors in the strictest sense, they are highly trained specialists focused on foot and ankle care and can prescribe medications in some circumstances, governed by local regulations.
What types of conditions do podiatrists treat in Kuala Lumpur?
Podiatrists in Kuala Lumpur treat a wide variety of conditions, including ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel spurs, flat feet, diabetic foot problems (ulcers, neuropathy), sports-related foot injuries, and fungal infections. They often work with patients managing chronic conditions like diabetes.
How do I find a reputable podiatrist in Kuala Lumpur?
To find a reputable podiatrist in Kuala Lumpur, you can ask for recommendations from your general practitioner or other healthcare professionals. Online directories and healthcare portals can also provide listings and reviews. It is crucial to verify their credentials and experience, and check for any specializations they may have.
What can I expect during my first appointment?
During your first appointment, the podiatrist will typically ask about your medical history and current symptoms. They will perform a thorough physical examination of your feet and ankles, which may include x-rays or other diagnostic tests. Be prepared to discuss your lifestyle, footwear choices, and any relevant activities contributing to your condition.
Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?
Whether or not you need a referral to see a podiatrist depends on your insurance plan. Some insurance providers require a referral from your general practitioner, while others do not. It’s best to check with your insurance company before your appointment to avoid any unexpected costs.
What types of treatments do podiatrists offer?
Podiatrists offer a variety of treatments, including orthotics (custom shoe inserts), medications, wound care, surgical procedures (for more severe conditions), and physical therapy. They often tailor treatment plans to address the specific needs of each patient.
How much does a podiatry consultation cost in Kuala Lumpur?
The cost of a podiatry consultation in Kuala Lumpur can vary depending on the clinic, the podiatrist's experience, and the complexity of the condition being treated. Generally, a consultation may range from RM100 to RM300 or more. It’s advisable to inquire about fees upfront to avoid surprises.
