I recently started attend Grit Nation Saturday's fundamental class. If you're serious about building a solid foundation in strength training, Mo is fantastic. His patience is a real asset, especially when learning new and sometimes complex movements. He has a knack for explaining the "why" behind each exercise, ensuring you understand the mechanics and the muscles being worked. This approach not only helps with proper form but also empowers you to train more effectively on your own. I've gained a much clearer understanding of fundamental principles thanks to his guidance. His commitment to proper technique and progressive training is evident in every session. For anyone looking to learn the right way from the start, or even to refine their existing knowledge, he's the real deal. Please, please continue offering these fundamental classes – they are so valuable.

I’ve been seeing Vince as my PT and going to GRIT for 3 years. I first signed up for PT for my wedding, and continued after that until today throughout my 2 pregnancies. My physique has improved no doubt, but also my stamina, skills, strength and agility. Since giving birth the first time, I’ve had no pain, my stamina has maintained and I believe the training was what has helped me throughout the post partum period. The equipments are all high quality, well maintained. There are rowing machines, Skierg machines, echo bikes, etc. And the usual weight lighting rigs. People are friendly and Vince is one of the best. He is patient, firm, and pushes you towards your goal. I’m really happy with the experience so far and I have no doubt I will continue for as long as I can.

Updated on 22 June. Grit nation has sincerely apologized and committed to covering all medical expenses. I truly feel their genuine remorse and sincerity On 18 June, around 9pm, during a scheduled training session Grit Nation, I was accidentally struck directly in the eye by a heavy rope mishandled during a handover by the coach. The force of the blow caused an immediate and agonizing corneal injury—confirmed later at Sunway Medical Centre—left eye Cornea Abrasion and left eye Commotio Retinae with blurred vision, extreme pain, and sensitivity to light. What shocked me more than the physical pain was the coach’s response—or lack thereof. Rather than stopping to check on me, she continued coaching other participants. It was only after concerned bystanders gathered that she walked over and, without apology or expression of regret, briefly asked how I felt. There was no empathy, no offer of medical assistance or follow-up, and certainly no compensation offered for the inconvenience and suffering I endured. As a trained professional in a setting involving potentially dangerous equipment, the coach owed me a clear duty of care: to maintain awareness of my proximity, handle equipment safely, and respond immediately if an accident occurred. When she failed to do so—by risking injury through negligent handling, ignoring the incident, and failing to supervise properly—she breached that duty of care In legal term, this constitutes negligence under tort law, as her omission directly led to my medical injury, pain, and financial expense . The aftermath has been deeply disruptive: medical bills, ongoing doctor visits, pain management, and emotional strain as I adjust to living with impaired vision and discomfort. I should not be burdened with these consequences when the injury was entirely preventable. Therefore, I respectfully request: * A formal written apology acknowledging the incident and the failure in duty of care. * Full reimbursement of all medical expenses incurred, including emergency treatment, follow-up consultations, and medication. * A clear description of corrective actions the facility will implement: enhanced coach training, improved supervision protocols, and safety measures for equipment handling. * A commitment to prevent future negligence and protect all participants from similar incidents. This was not merely an accident—it was a preventable injury compounded by unprofessional conduct and a lack of accountability. I just got home after their Saturday Hyrox HIIT class and is in such a good mood! That’s how much my friends and I enjoy their sessions! It was so much fun, full of good vibes, and challenging in the best way All the instructors I’ve had so far have been fantastic: clear in their instructions, super encouraging, and easygoing. Great music and excellent facilities, too. I’ll definitely recommend this place

I decided to make a change for myself in 2022, so I joined the foundation class alone without any basic or techniques. Coach Vince has provided very good guidance, he is patient and helpful. Not forget to mention, the other coaches here are pretty good too! There’s something special in this place that makes people keep coming back for more. I love the community and work out! Thank you Grit Nation. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn and train.
