Beautiful temple, bright and colourful with excellent views of KL. Definitely worth the walk up! Gift shop with affordable souvenirs below. It’s a place of worship so you should dress modestly ideally covering your shoulders and knees.

Just around the corner from my hotel is this amazing Ganesha Temple and my luck they had a ceremony today. I joined took off my shoes and socks went inside learnt a lot. Did 9 times around the shrine. Loved it very pleasing and calming

This prayer is done once a year for Lord Ganesar as of his BIRTHDAY. This is the time u can see HINDUS flock to the temple to full fill their wishes. Event hough the prayers are done daily but not of this date.

I’m completely blown away by the divine vibes at this place! The energy is palpable, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and calming. It’s like stepping into a different world, where all your worries and stress just melt away.

This is a Great Temple of Lord Ganesha. You will find many shops nearby the temple for buying flowers, Agarbatti, etc. It’s a peaceful place, Amazing shrine. Had a wonderful and blessed morning.

One of the best Hanuman Temple I have ever seen. This temple seems very powerful and one can feel the aura inside the premises. There are hundreds of beautifully sculptured Lord Hanuman inside this temple. Pooja and Archana performed here properly. You can spend some time in this temple and can feel inner peace and blessed

The architecture and cleanliness are impressive. The priests are South Indian, and there are two more temples nearby. The place offers a true sense of peace.

It’s very clean. Beautiful temple.. very very peaceful and well designed. I respect it so much. But i don’t respect the person in the reception. I’m wearing a long dress and he forced me to pay 2renggit for this orange kind of skirt. Because according to him women should do that.. he will get paid 20cents for holding your shoes too. I have no comment about the temple because it’s gorgeous and worth visiting

A very beautiful temple! It looks like the ones in storybooks, with lots of brightly colored characters. I didn’t like that you have to take off your shoes. It’s OK for the inside of the temple itself, but it’s not OK for the inner courtyard, where it’s dusty just like on the sidewalk.

The moment you stand in front of the entrance, you’re struck by the colorful and detailed tower gate (gopuram) that rises high above the street. Despite being in the middle of the city, it’s incredibly peaceful and calming. A truly special place — I’ll definitely return again.

Stepped into Buddhist Maha Vihara expecting inner peace, walked out feeling like my stress had been gently escorted off the premises. This Theravāda temple, established in 1895 by the Sinhalese community, isn’t just old, it’s gracefully timeless. A quiet cornerstone of Brickfields long before the traffic and towers arrived, it continues to serve as a spiritual hub for Buddhists across Malaysia.

The main shrine hall is dignified and serene, with a Buddha statue so majestic it might make your worries apologize and leave. The Bodhi tree? A leafy therapist. The bell? Tempting, but ring it only if you’re ready to shake up some karma.

Visited during Wesak Day, the annual celebration of Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and passing, and it was a full-on sensory blessing. Lanterns, chanting, candlelight processions, and a thousand people trying to be mindful at the same time. If peace had a festival, this would be it.

It’s free to enter, open to all, and blissfully uncommercial, no tacky souvenirs, just quiet contemplation and the occasional monk gliding past like a real-life mindfulness reminder.

我慕名而来仙四师爷最古老的华人庙宇宫瞻仰参观，非常古朴很有历史感，很庄严很神圣，浓浓的香火气息.人来人往，我还到隔壁参观了这里的博物馆，了解了这里的历史，非常值得拜访参观的一次有意义的地方。

Sin Sze Si Ya Temple – Kuala Lumpur

Sin Sze Si Ya Temple to najstarsza taoistyczna świątynia w Kuala Lumpur, założona w 1864 roku. ​To absolutnie kluczowe, historyczne miejsce, ponieważ została ufundowana przez Kapitana Yap Ah Loya (uznawanego za założyciela KL) i jest poświęcona bóstwom, które były rzeczywistymi osobami – jego doradcom i generałom. Świątynia jest mała, ale pełna klimatu i bogato zdobiona.

因緣際會的情況之下走到這邊，發現這一間最最最最最早的一間在馬來西亞的道教佛教廟宇，磁場很好，我彷彿進到一百多年前的感覺，裡面有清朝的留下來的一些歷史文物，還有照片三民莊嚴神聖慈悲，所以來這邊神明一定會保佑您的，有空一定要來這邊走一走拜拜喔

It is a lively traditional Chinese culture temple where we still visit every chinese new year for prayer. The prayer sequence is very complicated depending what we are praying for. So better to go to the counter 1 where all the ladies sitting to write and provide the relevant prayers stuff. Temple is free for visit but for prayer then we have to pay for the prayer stuff like joss stick etc. Highly recommended living Chinese culture to visit around KL city center.

Tips: We came here to pray for the tai sui to keep the bad spirit away. People may come here pray for work, study, marriage, baby etc. Do try the praying sequence when visiting. The entrance is as shown in the photo a narrow lane just next to the museum.

Another old chinese temple that has different god statue and meaningful chinese temple culture. With loadsa old building structure. If you have extra time can always come over these temple just for a soothing moment or a prayer to calm down the day

A Chinese temple tucked away nearby Chinatown (Petaling Street), very rich in local Malaysian culture. Plenty of services for prayers.

There’s a free chop here for tourists to have as a free souvenir.

Counter service is suitable for locals and tourists as he’s Indian and speaks English well.

We had Mahalaya Ammavasai prayers today, and were in the first batch. The priest who attended to us, was on the right (smaller group). He has no respect for anyone (except for some group of ppl I think), and I’m not sure what he actually thinks he is doing, shouting around at people and his instructions were not even clear, and the tray of offerings we brought, were just dumped at a corner like rubbish. I didn’t like his service even when I did a tithi session early this year, all he worries about is the money you put on the tray not the prayer that is supposed to be done for our passed loved ones. On the contrary, the last Ammavasai prayers I attended was conducted by the priest on the left (the priest on the left this morning). He was very polite, and respectful, clear instructions and we could pray for our loved ones, peacefully. Please take note, management, and hope some improvements can be made.

I like the temple yet I had the worst experience during the visit to this temple. My first visit to this temple became the worst visit . Never seen this kind of temple management people in my life also the priests are being choosy in doing the prayers for those they know and for those who are new to the temple. Some priests were telling mantras according to their wish and not doing the full version of the prayers mantras. Too much of the worst experience compared to the good. Hopefully they will improve in the future without choosing people that they know and don’t. Visitation to the temples mainly are for inner peace but here I don’t get any of it just get hurt with their behaviours!!! Thanks to Lord Shiva for keeping me calm inside the temple surrounding by seeing all these…

Wonderful temple with good priests and assistants only setback is parking ,cleanliness of plates n cups perhaps management should consider disposable paper plates n cups for hygiene n cleanliness

Its was rated to be a of the must visit place while at KL Chinatown. Temple was well maintained and managed. Not big and place organised and clean. After visiting many other Chinese temples around Malaysia, we find this Temple visit was ok.

位于茨厂街旁边吉隆坡雪隆广肇会馆关帝庙建于光绪14年（公元1887年年），历史悠久，远近闻名，加上地点适中，位处首都心脏地带，香火鼎盛，是华裔同胞心目中最崇敬庙宇之一，每天香火不断……也是吉隆坡少数保存下来的古建筑物，同时，古色古香的设计，深获中外游客所喜爱，而成为猎影的对象。
我去过茨厂街关帝庙三次，古色古香很喜庆又庄严的的一座古老庙宇，里面香火也很旺盛，值得拜访和参观。

Ему был присвоен титул “Бога войны”, и решили поклоняться ему из-за его превосходных боевых и военных навыков. Они верили, что с его благословениями и защитой можно достичь благополучия. Бог войны будет исполнять желания только тех, у кого чистый ум. Здесь находится легендарный 59-килограммовый медный Гуань Дао (китайское шестовое оружие). Считается, что меч обладает особой силой благословлять и защищать человека, если кто прикоснется или поднимет его. Некоторые даже считают, что у него есть внутренняя сила, которая также может волшебным образом изменить удачу человека.

Nice old temple nearby to Chinatown worth a visit. Never knew it existed till did a walking tour of that area. Free entrance .. good to spend maybe 10 min or so there.

Guan Di Temple (also known as Kuan Ti Temple) is a historic Taoist temple established in 1888.
It is dedicated to Guan Di (or Guan Yu), the Chinese God of War and Literature, who is revered for his loyalty, bravery, and sense of justice.
The temple was founded by the Kwang Siew Association, a Cantonese clan group, and has remained a significant spiritual and cultural site in the city.

The temple showcases traditional Chinese architecture, with vivid red walls, intricate carvings, and decorative roof details featuring dragons and mythical creatures.
Inside, the main altar houses a statue of Guan Di in a green robe holding his legendary weapon, the guan dao. Devotees believe that touching or lifting the temple’s 59-kg copper guan dao three times brings luck and protection.

Apart from Guan Di, the temple also honors other deities such as Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy), Wen Chang (God of Literature), and Choy Sun (God of Prosperity), reflecting the syncretic nature of traditional Chinese worship.

One of the biggest and most beautiful temple in Kuala Lumpur. They have beautiful temples of all the main God and Goddess here. Very well managed and the puja, archana, aarti, bhajan here are really nice. You will definitely feel peace and blessed over here. This is one of the temples in Malaysia managed by north indians and even all the pujaris here can speak Hindi. Very neat and clean temple with lot of major festivals being celebrated here within the premises

Jai Lakshmi Narayan! This is a Hindu Temple located about 600m from MRT Sentul Barat station. You can reach here by cab, own car or train. There is enough parking available inside the temple compound. I went there to attend Janmasthami celebration. The decoration was good and the committee had planned for the dinner as well. There are other smaller prayer areas. The temple was well maintained. Definitely recommend going here.

Best temple in the city. Usually all indian festivals are celebrated here at a grand scale. Very spacious hall. Good parking area.

Beautiful Event Space.
The private wedding area fits well for a small crowd to hold the traditional ceremony.. the adjoining hall can hold up of 350 pax for lunch / dinner post weddings. It’s has excellent AV setup for your entertainment needs during the Event. Highly recommend this space for weddings and receptions..

Note: only vegetarian food is allowed, alcohol is strictly not allowed. The space is within the temple premises.

A huge hall. Beautiful. Can easily fit 1500 to 2000 people. It is a beautiful stage with good PA ayatem n lightings. A clean brand new washrooms. Ample of parking spaces. I would recommend this place for weddings and other cultural events. Fantastic.
