I recently rented the Dewan Kecil one evening as an exercise venue for my small group workout class.
Although this Community Centre is listed in an app (KLSPEF) which is meant to ease and digitize your booking, the Dewan Kecil is not included in the app for some unknown reason and the app also does not allow booking to be processed, so I ended up going to book manually, fill in the form and pay by cash. The staff at the small office is knowledgeable and helpful.
The Dewan Kecil itself is partitioned into 3 rooms by folding panels with each ‘room’ costing RM50/hour to rent. The office will issue an official receipt for the payment.
The floor is tiled, clean-ish, still dusty and lots of ants. The space has high ceilings, good lighting and strong air-conditioning. Due to lack of soft furnishing there is a noticeable echo when you talk.
The main Dewan was full of badminton players and seemed packed.
There are separate men’s and women’s changing rooms, toilets, and showers. The men’s room is basic and functional. Don’t expect it to be anything like shopping centre WC’s.
Parking is free and was available when we visited. Overall a positive experience except for the App and the place felt a bit run down.

I came here recently for the swimming pool. To my surprise it is very decent and the shower/toilet is clean. Very affordable RM2 per entry for adult. Open till 8.30pm (on google not so accurate).. can come after work. I went there on weekdays so there was just a few people there. Male Surau is kepam… but female surau is ok, thats the only downside.

I book 2 badminton court for 3 hours via the apps, the courts are clean and the facilities like toilet and prayer room are neat, clean and proper. The hall is opened right when on the time we booked, since we booked in middle of day.
Court 2/Middle court’s light a bit dim as compared to other 2 courts. Overall experience is good.
Food and drink in icebox cannot be brought in to prevent messiness. So we only eat outside of the hall. But normal bottle drink can be brought in (not icebox). Lots of parking right in front the hall.
Note: if you want to organize a tournament, they have separate booking system for that. we only play for leisure. Hence, do ask first.

It is located further inside plus the roads are a bit confusing phewww i like that there are parking spaces for vehicles but not satisfied with the booking system. We booked by app and as we arrived and showed to the security, they said the international school had booked monthly. Then if that is the case do not open to the public as they booked manually while we already booked online. It is humid at the court, no air con but bearable la…we also used to book weekly and overall just spoil people mood pagi2 duh…

How can I provide feedback or suggestions to a community center?
Community centers generally welcome feedback and suggestions from the community. Many have suggestion boxes, online forms, or dedicated contact persons to receive and address inquiries. Providing constructive feedback helps centers to improve their services and better serve the needs of the local area. Look for contact information on the center's website or at the premises.
