I came here with really high expectations because of all the positive reviews and the fact that their services are on the pricier side. Since they were running a promotion for men’s Korean perm, I decided to give it a try.

When I booked, I was a little unsure about the stylist assigned to me. His Instagram didn’t really show much of the styles I was looking for, but the salon reassured me that he specialized in men’s perms, so I decided to trust them and go ahead.

The salon itself was nice — good atmosphere, friendly service overall. But when it came to the actual consultation, it wasn’t what I expected. I thought the stylist would show me some image references or at least give me a clearer idea of what the end result might look like. Instead, he only explained verbally how he planned to cut and perm my hair. I asked again if he had any photos or examples, but his response was basically “just trust me.” There was also some serious language barrier, which didn’t help.

Since he seemed confident, I went along with it. The perming process itself was fine, but the result was honestly quite plain. It gave me the feeling that he wasn’t too invested in making sure I got a good, tailored outcome. When he said we were done, my first thought was, “Wait, that’s it?”

On the bright side, he did try hard to explain despite the communication issues, and I appreciated that he didn’t try to push me into buying extra treatments.

This was my first time going to a premium salon, so maybe my expectations were too high. My takeaway: make sure you and the stylist align with clear photo references, not just verbal descriptions.

That said, the end result was super average. Not terrible, but not great either. And if this had been a cheaper haircut nearby, maybe I wouldn’t have minded as much. But because I purposely chose a Korean-style salon — paid the premium price, travelled far, sat through traffic, tolls, and parking — I was really hoping for something noticeably better. Instead, it just felt underwhelming and not worth it.

I had such a wonderful experience at Walking on Sunshine! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a calming, nature-inspired atmosphere.

My stylist KT really listened to what I wanted, offered professional suggestions, and executed the cut/colour perfectly. I left feeling pampered, refreshed, and loving my hair! The attention to detail and genuine care for customers truly sets them apart. Highly recommended for anyone looking for both great results and a relaxing salon visit.

The best ever head spa. They have 3 type of head spa depend on your budget. I took the premium plus head spa. While you having your head spa.. they will do medicure, hand and shoulder massage. They got other services too. Like hair cut, coloring, perm and other treatment for your hair. The place very cozy. They give free drink. I get myself a latte. I walked into Walking on Sunshine not really sure what I wanted, but they totally worked their magic! The team was super friendly and helped me figure out the perfect look. I left feeling like a million bucks — my hair looks amazing and healthy. Definitely my new fave spot! ☺️

Unsure how this salon managed to get such high reviews. Upon arrival I was told price of my haircut will be doubled to 139 RM from 68 RM as my hair was long. Fair enough for my hair length and good reviews I agreed upon and sat down. Offered me a better shampoo for wash to which I opted for normal one instead.

So the haircut, I asked for U shape haircut with light long layers as per my picture requested. As he was cutting he asked if the length was ok, as for U shape I said ok. Upon blowdry, the U shape was there but there were no long layers. 2nd attempt I sat down again and asked for layers, the ends of my hair was uneven. 3rd attempt done however it was to point where both me and the hairdresser seemed frustrated too. Hair looks V instead of U so I just decided will head to other salon right after.

Left with no thank yous or goodbyes. Could be commutation issue however thought videos and picture I showed would have done the job.

I’d been on the hunt for the right place to refresh my hair…originally thinking of a perm and full color. But after a thoughtful consultation, the stylist recommended a keratin treatment and a color touch-up instead. And wow, it turned out beautifully! Huge thanks to Faye for the expert care and to Zong Hang for being such a helpful part of the process. I absolutely love the result! ‍♀️✨ Keep it up!

【Summarize】
LOW QUALITY/ BAD ATTITUDE/ UNPROFESSIONAL HANDLING/ CRAZILY HAIR DAMAGE
• Visited the salon a total of two times for their unsatisfied outcome.
• Spent nearly six hours in total.
• My hair was exposed to perm chemicals three times.
• Heat was applied to my hair twice.
• The staff was unprofessional throughout the entire process.
• After all that, the final result was completely unsatisfactory with my order as you compare first picture (my order) with the second picture.
•Third picture is the final one but I got too much chemicals and heats on my hair.

【Situation】
I requested a perm like the one in the first photo. The stylist confidently said it could be done, but there was no curl at all. Although I was already dissatisfied, they told me to come back the next day for fix because they were closing, and I was sent home despite it being their mistake.

When I returned the next day, they applied a significantly larger amount of chemicals and used extremely high heat on my hair. During this time, the stylist left me alone and I was completely neglected.

The result was what you see in the second photo.

Coming to Malaysia, I never expected to face such a terrible experience in my life. When I was clearly disappointed, a female staff member approached me with a sarcastic smile and said, “How is it?”—which made me feel extremely disrespected and angry.

But things got worse from there.

Despite my hair already being exposed to chemicals twice (the second time with a heavy application) and heat from the perm, they took me to the shampoo area and began washing my hair with another chemical to weaken the curls—without informing me beforehand. I only realized what was happening after the process had already started.

Although I was furious, I held back because I know expressing anger is not a wise action.

After that chemical shampoo, they then proceeded to apply further heat with a flat iron for about 20 minutes. By that point, my hair had been subjected to three rounds of chemicals, high perm heat, and 20 minutes of ironing. My hair was completely damaged.

In the end, the result looked nothing like what I had originally asked for, and my hair suffered severe damage.

The stylist tried to explain that everything would be okay after a shampoo—as if a single shampoo could fix all the damage. Even a child would know that’s impossible.

I asked if I could at least receive a treatment product to help recover my hair from the damage they caused. Instead, they tried to sell me a RM100 treatment product.

At that point, I was so overwhelmed by the absurdity of the whole experience and the unprofessional behavior of the stylist that I almost laughed out of disbelief rather than anger.

In the end, I managed to get the treatment and a small discount only after insisting on it, but honestly, my hair is far more valuable than any product or discount. I was truly devastated.

I will never return to this salon again.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had since coming to Malaysia. I hope they learn to treat their clients with true professionalism in the future.

Came here with my boyfriend for a hair wash and specifically requested that they be extra careful to avoid getting water in our eyes, as we both had eye correction surgery just yesterday at Optimax TTDI. They washed our scalps gently and met our expectations.

Before the wash, a well-groomed man in a suit approached me with his calculator. I was quoted RM78 for my hair length, and my boyfriend RM58 — pretty much what I’d expect in a tourist area. I agreed to the pricing before they began. They also offered add-ons: a good shampoo for an extra RM20, a good hair serum for another RM20, and the option for a hair treatment or to blow my hair straight (no price quoted). I politely declined — we just wanted a normal wash.

The service was good, though the session felt a little short:

7:44 PM – Started washing
7:52 PM – Back to the chair
8:03 PM – Done with hair blow-drying

I do wish the washing part had lasted a bit longer, but overall, it was fine and met our goal which is to have our scalps cleansed in a clean saloon.

I came in around 9PM after work, already tired, but still hoping to get a fresh haircut as I having event the next morning.I showed them a reference photo, and the stylist told me my hair was short — which I understood — so I said I was fine with something similar, and that the photo was just for reference.

We proceeded, but once it was done, I was honestly shocked. The layers were extremely way too short. The gap between the top layers and bottom length is huge — it looks choppy, like a dated 80s mullet. I literally dont know how style it properly now. It’s frustrating, embarrassing, and I don’t know how I’m supposed to show up to work.

At that point, I was too tired and already upset. It was already mall closing time, so I didn’t want to argue — I just left. But I left feeling awful. This experience honestly ruined my evening, my confidence and such a disappointing experience. I really expected better, especially with all the stars at the reviews

(Edit in response to Salon: I did not ask for ash blue hair. I said I wanted blue highlights and showed the stylists several photos, including the one I posted. He showed me a swatch which, to my untrained eye, looked cornflower blue and not ashy. To be fair, he did mention “ashy” a few times, but I relied on him and assumed that if the look he had in mind was very different from the pictures I showed or the swatch, he would let me know. I should also reiterate that, notwithstanding the clear unevenness, the salon dried, applied treatment to and styled my hair without suggesting another application of blue dye. They would have been content to let me leave the salon as is if I did not raise the issue)

Do not be fooled by all the 5 star reviews. This salon offers a 10% discount in exchange for 5-star reviews.

I visited the salon on 6 September, asking for bright blue highlights. I showed the stylist a picture with the colour and look I wanted (blue highlights on black hair), and he assured me it could be done.

Long story short – I ended up with brown hair and grey/green highlights, with patches of blue. Not what I was looking for at all.

I noticed that once the bleach and dye process started, the stylist got his assistant to apply the products and simply put a timer on. Once the time was up, they washed off the bleach and dye without first checking the colour in any way.

When I pointed out that the look was entirely different from what I asked for, the stylist first tried to deny it by claiming it was “ash blue”. I pointed out that the blue was patchy and uneven, and he said it could be because the bleaching wasn’t even and said I could bleach my hair again. I pointed out that this would cause unnecessary damage to my hair, and he should have checked before applying blue dye. He then claimed that it might have been the blue dye that was not absorbed evenly, and said he could apply another coat of blue dye.

But at this point, I no longer had any faith in this salon. He offered me a 30% discount, which I took. But frankly, it will cost me much more to rectify the damage caused and achieve the look I wanted. It was incredibly disappointing that the salon would even try to suggest they gave me what I asked for – attaching pictures for reference.

I had an amazing experience at hairquarters pavilion. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The salon has a modern, clean atmosphere that instantly made me feel comfortable.
My stylist, Sunny really listened to what I wanted and offered great suggestions based on my hair type. The color turned out even better than I hope and the K Gloss treatment really helps my damaged fizzy hair. It’s not cheap though. Get prepare to spend a $800 ringgit and above.

My first visit to this salon with keratin treatment. Initially the front desk told me an hour half will complete the procedure however it’s took nearly 3 hours hence I was starving as it’s over dinner time. Thanks Chloe the hair stylist to delegate the assistant to speed up. I m impressed with the massage for hair wash. Overall their services is excellent with snacks and drinks menu provided.

Service was great! The assistant was super attentive and did a really good job at communicating with me on whether the hairdryer was too hot or if the water was too cold when washing my hair. The services and overall experience were good but I wanted to highlight one point.
I went for a haircut and later decided to add a hair colour service. While confirming the hair colour charges, the front desk staff initially informed me that my hair was short and quoted the short length price. However, at the time of payment, my stylist informed me that my hair was actually medium length and the charges were based on that category. Since the prices for medium length are much higher, this part felt a little unpleasant.

I had specifically asked about the pricing beforehand for clarity, which is why this felt disappointing. I wasn’t expecting it from Number 76.
The front desk staff should have clearer knowledge of the pricing guidelines or confirm with the stylist beforehand so customers receive the correct information from the start.

I have poofy hair which is difficult to tame. Thankfully, I found Le Classic Publika 2yrs ago. I am now able to enjoy any hairstyle that I want, of course with advice from my stylist, Aaron.

My appt started at 11:30am until 4:30pm. I went in with light breakfast. Good thing they serve good quality snack and dessert (ice-cream). So, I wasn’t too hungry when my make over was over. Thank you.

Went for a hair dye. Great service and thoughtful advice from Aaron. He is very patient in explaining colours that suit me and Le Classic will go step beyond to customise the colour tone best suited for you.

Overall very satisfied with my dye and will visit again.

Great product, comfortable place, even better hospitality. I did The Hustler wash & blow service and starting from the wash itself I felt pampered. I told Par, the stylist, on my particular scalp issues and all the products used were very cooling and suitable for my scalp. The head massage was also beyond what I expected of a normal saloon.

The blowdry was amazing, it stayed through the night. All the serum and products used didnt leave my hair greasy if anything, uplifted the volume. Par took great care for my hair and scalp. I’ve always been afraid to cut my hair because in the past, the hairdresser cut it too short until my hair gets ‘sulky’. But with Jack at Number 76 Lot 10, it was completely different. He’s very friendly, not arrogant, and gave me a beautiful wolf cut … a style I never dared to try before. He made me feel confident to explore a new hairstyle without worrying it would be too short. I also appreciate his thoughtfulness… he even collected my hair because i insist to bring them home. I had such a great experience at The Hair TRIC and Lashility MyTOWN, especially with Agnes Khor, the director! She helped me dye my hair just in time for Raya and also suggested I try a keratin treatment, which honestly made my hair feel sooo soft and smooth.

Agnes is super nice, helpful, and friendly, but also has that firm, confident vibe that makes you trust her right away. You can tell she really knows her stuff, and I felt super comfortable the whole time.

Loved how my hair turned out and I’d definitely go back to her for future hair services. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone experienced and genuinely caring!

I showed the first photo as a reference for the haircut I wanted, and the second photo shows the result I received. Unfortunately, the outcome was extremely disappointing. Despite the poor service, I was still charged (with a discount), but the quality of the work does not justify any payment.

My bangs were especially poorly done—one side noticeably longer than the other—and the cut looked nothing like what I requested. I left feeling very upset. After reading other reviews, I can’t help but wonder if this was a case of discrimination, possibly because I’m not Malaysian. Based on the ratings, it seems that other clients are treated with more care and professionalism.

My hair was quite damaged when I came in, and I appreciated the way she handled it. She took time to understand the condition, gave advice based on what my hair needed, and helped me get a haircut that I’m happy with. She was patient, careful, and skilled.

It’s not easy to find someone who listens and puts in that level of effort. I hope the management can acknowledge the great work she’s doing – she made a difference

Anjoce and Erica were incredible! Anjoce gave my girls the perfect cuts—exactly what they wanted—and took the time to make sure each style suited their faces and personalities. Erica was super sweet and helped with styling. Both were professional, kind, and made the whole experience fun for the girls.

I had the most fun experience here!! I first came here in 2023 for a director’s haircut and it grew so perfect along the years. But I cut my hair somewhere else and my hair wasn’t that nice anymore. Then in 2025, I decided to do balayage and I returned to Hair Tric at Bangsar. I specifically asked for Mimi who is the director because I trust her professionalism and she knows exactly what my hair needs. We bonded so much, chatting about our lives and journey. Totally recommend Mimi to anyone who wants their hair to look absolutely perfect! I am going to stay loyal to Mimi after this and I am happy I found the perfect hairstylist

Excellent service. They didnt ask me to write review. I really want to write as their service all excellent. All the crew here very nice. I do eyelash extension, they provide me some advise and I really like the result. Do haircut, the hairstylist also give advise, follow my preferences, again I love the result! I would recommend everyone to have hair treatment, eyelash, or eyebrow here. Got some snacks too! Really enjoy my first time here and definitely will come back here.

inconsistent lash extensions experience (i do 3D+)

i’ve done my lashes here many times and it used to last me 4 weeks+.

however the last 2 times i went in 2025, both times only lasted exactly 2 weeks where my lashes would be 70% gone already. during both these times, i noticed when the lash extensions dropped, it was only the extensions and NOT my natural lashes. it seems like there is an issue with the glue maybe?

i’m always very careful around the eyes whenever i get extensions done (no rubbing or crying lol). plus remember that my natural lash did not drop with the extensions.

severely disappointed, and customer service was not very apologetic or helpful in service recovery. i had to push for a complimentary touch up myself because they did not initially want to offer that.
