shouout to khairul who came all the way from klang to kajang just to get my car battery fixed! took a bit delayed than 30-45 mins eta, but once i asked if he could come quicker, he really rushed over. appreciate the effort, seriously got everything done smooth and easy at 11pm. really satisfied and highly recommend

I had a battery issue with my car then i google for a workshop then call this workshop and the response from the technician was incredibly fast. He arrived quickly at the site and provided excellent service. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend this workshop for their prompt response and quality service! My technician name is idzhar, he is really good at his job and he do provide me a lot of information regarding my battery use and all.

I called them to do a Car inspection. They set an appointment at 1pm on 23.09.2025. I was later notified by the ‘Customer Service’ that the mechanic would be there by 2pm. I asked them to carry on with the inspection without my attendance and keep in touch with me when the mechanic has gone to the place and when they’ve completed he inspection. The Mechanic never showed up. They accordingly refused to answer any of my calls. I obviously lost the RM20 deposit. But it’s good to identify a scam company early on.

Assigned mechanic arrived in 10 minutes even at night. Price is very reasonable. Job done in less than an hour. Me and my family have saved this contact for next emergency use. Highly recommended to others. Thank you very much abangs! *****

Other than that, I can’t recommend this place. It may have just been due to the mechanic I was assigned but nonetheless, it was a terrible experience and a very shoddy job.

Paid them for a pre-purchase inspection for a used car. First of all, the mechanic couldn’t even identify the make of the car. It was a Honda, yet the ignorant mechanic kept droning on about how it was a conti car so I need to keep an eye out for expensive parts?? Secondly, the mechanic literally did nothing but touch here touch there in the car and called it a day. 10 minutes spent just walking around the car, not even bother to check the engine bay. Lastly, the inspection report that was issued to me was fake. Various components of it were untrue, in the report stated the condition of the car while driven (suspension condition, steering feel, clutch bite etc..) and yet the mechanic never even drove the car. When questioned, all I got was a simple “oh ini report salah hehe, nanti aku send yang betul”. Never heard from them since. Fantastic service.

Service is good. Very friendly and within one hour can fix two tyres.

I got my alternator replaced by Mr Mun (at least that’s what I think he’s called) about 4 months ago. When I had a small issue after the 3-month warranty, he didn’t hesitate to replace it – really shows he’s honest and stands by his work.

He’s easy to talk to, gives solid advice, and you can really trust him. Plus, his rates are very reasonable for the quality of work and location. Definitely recommend if you need a reliable, affordable mechanic.

Absolutely Unreliable – Avoid Even for Basic Car Service

I had to send in my car three times in a single week for what was supposed to be a routine service—completely unacceptable.

First visit: After being told my car was ready, I arrived only to find the service alert indicator still on. I was made to wait 30 minutes under the sun while they tried to figure it out, and was then asked to leave the car overnight again—for a brake pad replacement this time.

Second visit: Soon after picking up the car, I noticed smoke coming from the front right side, along with a strong burnt rubber smell. I had to return the car yet again.

Third visit: I was told it was a brake disc issue, which they never checked during the original service—apparently they only check it if requested? How do you change brake pads and skip the discs? Worse, they didn’t even have the expertise in-house and had to outsource to other mechanics, forcing me to leave my car behind once more.

Fourth pick-up: The same issue still persists.

To make it worse:

No apology was ever given.

They never offered any drop-off service, despite all the trouble caused by their own mistakes.

They still charged full price for each so-called “fix.”

This workshop shows a shocking lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone—not even for the simplest job.

This is my 4th time coming to this workshop as it is in KL area near my house area. The most important thing is the technical know how, ability and effort to troubleshoot car problem. For instance, my xtrail t32 has thrown P420 error code (cat con efficiency). With data analysis Jtech was able to point out the problem and rectify it. Jtech also provides cozy and airconditioned waiting room with ample of tidbits and water dispenser. Due to space constraint, customer need to make appointment first.

I recently brought my 11 years old Mazda 2 to Jtech seeking to solve the cause of the noise for my vehicle, and I’m very satisfied with the service. The staff were friendly, professional, and explained clearly . The work was completed on time, and the pricing was fair with no hidden charges. My Nissan Sylphy 2010 radiator temperature high at range 95-102°c when engine idling. Many parts change in other workshop but problem not solve. Visited Jtech, Noel Chong diagnose with obd scanner(temperature, fan speed, voltage) & thermal imager(scanning various hose in & out temperatures).
I like the way their problem checking with equipments as to convince customer, rather than change parts one by one base on individual experience. After parts changed, I left the engine idling for 75mins and radiator temperature ranged at 90-98°c. Thanks to JTech solve my car problem.

I initially wanted to top up the refrigerant for my car’s AC, but I decided to have the cooling coil replaced instead, as they provided a detailed explanation of what was wrong with the AC and what would happen if I didn’t fix it and just kept topping up the refrigerant. I was planning to survey around for the best quotation but I thought what they charged was reasonable, and most importantly, they did a good job.

Bad professional, don’t even know how to open cabin filter and install filter, need car owner to teach them. When call, full aircon service with cabin filter is RM120, when reach said RM150, when come to paid is RM190. Think 3 times if you wanna try this workshop.

(On Monday 12 Dec 2022)I came here to fix my mother’s car (Proton Iriz 1.3) aircond problem not cold. The foreman the boss named Fong is very good, friendly and trusted, he firstly checked the condition and then explained to me what’s the problem briefly. The fan motor not spin and need to topup gas aircond. Almost 1 hour, the service is done and aircond finally cold back. Reliable, definitely will come back again to fix my family cars. 5 Stars ✋

I had the most amazing first time experience encountering this car workshop by chance. My car was having bearing issues and being a first time customer there, I was worried I might get overcharged on unnecessary charges & repairs. Turns out Desmond was a big help. Not only he addresses the issues attentively, his service was really top notched. He checked my car inside out without costing any additional charges. He is a young mechanic yet very genuine, attentive and honest. I will definitely recommend anyone to come here. His charges is reasonable too. Most importantly, you will not have to worry that you get con, unlike some dishonest workshops. A small humble shop but definitely skillful and good work done!

Good service from this workshop. The mechanic explained the issue very well and suggested the most cost saving price. I had a bearing issues and ask whether i need to replace for all wheel. He suggested to test one by one and only replace the defect one. And also i ask to do alignment service for my car but he suggested to hold that and wait for the bearing issue settled. Some workshop might just do the alignment straight away cuz easy money maa. But not this workshop. They also delivered their service faster than the expected time. I had an amazing and surreal experience yesterday. My 2007 Toyota Harrier developed a sudden loss of power and was shuddering at low speeds. Fearing something serious, I looked around for a car service centre nearby and found SK Chang Auto Service. A young mechanic (Sam?) attended to me and he immediately diagnosed (correctly) that the problem was due to a faulty part (can’t recall the name). He replaced the part and the car was running normal again. Feeling relief, I asked him how much for the replacement part and labour but he wouldn’t accept payment. I must have asked him 5 – 6 times, in fact I insisted on paying for the part, but he kept saying it was FOC as he replaced it with a used part (and he had plenty of stock). It is amazing in this day and age to find such a kind and honest guy. I’ll definitely use SK Chang from now on.

Seriously I have never in my life met a team with such honesty, I went for a major service, I’m so happy everything is in black and white… Prices, sparepart, service 1000% Sam is the best Mechanic I have ever met in my 20 years of driving cars. Whatever that you’ve read here about them being attentive, honest and courteous —- it’s all true. Desmond and his team was really good and professional and was quick to helping me with my car issue. They didn’t suggest any service or quoted me unnecessarily until they were certain about the issues. 10/10 recommend these guys.

Horrible service. In summary, Vincent is irresponsible, inexperience and will take advantage of situation to rip you off.

We contacted Vincent due to battery signal low and system locked the steering for safety reason and could not start the engine. It was 11pm then and we were struck at the roadside with my family and 2 young kids.

He quoted Rm650 after checking our vehicle model and say he would arrive in 30mins. He arrive an hour later and did not bring the right tools. Routed back and took another 30 min. After he fixed it, it was about 1am. He left loose cable dangling near the battery area. We asked him if he could tie back properly. He brush us off and say it is not going to affect the performance and he want to faster go home. Rather sloppy work.

We tried and the engine was able to start. We asked him to becareful his hand as we want to close the bonnet, pay him and leave. The kids were stranded 2 hours at the road side and were very tired.

He got defensive and raise his voice saying he is not going to remove his hand until we pay and he increase the amount to rm860. I suspect cause he sees foreign registered plate and we are stranded. We question him why the amount differs from what he quote before he came. He shouted at us and he gave us good quality battery that cost rm3000 + and he can immediately remove the battery and go if we don’t want to pay the requested amount. We Google and find out he gave us the lowest grade battery.

We are kind of left with no choice and agree to pay. He then demand he only accept cash. Not even tng or pay wave. He says he will not issue any receipt either.

We use Malaysia account to transfer to his personal account instead. He left and we drove back to our hotel with 1km.

The engine could not start again the next day. We contact him and he say it could be alternator issue and there is no issue with his battery and he will get to us again.

After which, he totally MIA on us and not contactable. I would say please avoid him at all cost.

Would give 0 star if available. Had a problem with my car window. The mechanic didn’t even use any tool because out of nowhere the window started working but was charged RM10. Didn’t really mind paying but as I was counting coins (cuz I don’t hv enough cash), the mechanic said I didn’t hv to count and just give him all from my coin purse?! Ofc I didn’t and just give him rm10 but the audacity.

Terrible service. Mechanics are inexperienced and wasted alot of time. No proper tools and I was made to wait for hours for them to take spare parts. And that was because I was questioning them. If not they wont be bothered to do proper.
