One of the most charming and creative souvenir shops in Kuala Lumpur!
Paper Adventures by Loka Made offers beautifully designed magnets, postcards, and gifts with local flair. Everything is unique and high quality — not your typical tourist items.

I first discovered them during an event at The Exchange TRX, and was happy to find their main shop inside Central Market. They also participate in art fairs and exhibitions from time to time, which makes it easy to catch them around the city.

Prices are slightly on the higher side, but honestly worth it for the thoughtful design and quality.
If you’re looking for artistic and meaningful souvenirs, this shop is a must-visit!

من ألطف محلات التذكارات وأكثرها تميزًا في كوالالمبور!
Paper Adventures by Loka Made

Really like the design of every product. It is very commemorative and the price is very friendly, so you can give it to friends or family. There is also a stamp station that you can diy your postcard and also leave some message.

We just returned from our 7D5N Japan tour with Apple Vacations, and it was an incredible experience! Our tour guide, Lee San, and tour lead, Ms. Jessica, were both excellent—knowledgeable, caring, and always attentive to our needs.

Before the trip, we often saw recommendations on social media to choose Apple Vacations for a Japan tour, and after experiencing it firsthand, we wholeheartedly agree. Lee San’s deep knowledge of Japanese history and culture made the journey even more enriching, as he shared fascinating insights that helped us better appreciate Japan’s heritage.

The overall arrangements were well-planned and detailed, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip. Both Lee San and Ms. Jessica were exceptionally helpful, always going the extra mile for the group. From accommodations to meals and itinerary planning, everything was top-notch and truly worth the value.

This trip exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are grateful for the wonderful memories created for our family. Thank you, Apple Vacations, for an unforgettable experience!

This review is for Majestic Beijing 1/3-7/3 2025, 7 days 5 night. The trip was honestly the most memorable one so far. The tour leader was Wendy Phang, her service was tiptop! Extremely friendly and attentive. We had a junior tour leader, Wei Xin, she was very helpful too, she behind all the little details that we didn’t notice. The local tour guide, Xiao Dong was a professional tour guide and very knowledgeable about Chinese histories.

Firstly, this Beijing trip, the accommodation was on point! Most memorable for me for the one in 古北水镇大酒店 in Gubei and the famous Sunrise Kempinski. The service and the design of both hotels were amazing. But my no 1, with no doubt, was the one in Gubei one. The vibes were immaculate, a classy hotel in a historical town

Overall, the meals were great, and up to my standards, even in the Gubei. My favourite was the infamous Peking Duck. This might be cliché but it was so good, I reminisce the taste from time to time.

This was my first time joined 9 days 7 nights Yunnan trip ( 28/3/2025-5/4/2025) with Apple Vacations! Although tired, but the whole trip was great & fun. I am quite enjoyable, happy with the hotels, environment, great views and food arrangement.

Chloe Chan Xiao Lei was our tour leader. She is really a friendly, lovely, helpful & caring person. A few days before we start our trip, she keep on update us and remind us what should we bring on Yunnan trip. During our trip, she will keep on eyes on us especially my grandmother that has mobility issues since after knee operation for almost more than 10 years. She also will double checking all of us are in the bus or not.

Our tour guide, Shirley Xiao Li 肖莉 from Dali are a humorous, funny, storytelling and talkative person. In the bus, she will tell us many story about her hometown, her family members and history about China during World War 1 and 2. She will tell us whatever she knows. Even one of my family members met problem during boarding back to Malaysia, she will come and help to solve the problem.

Both tour leader and tour guide were good partner, they keep on making fun and jokes with us. I am feeling like all of us were like family. It is nice to make new friends. Now i know why many people keep on travel to China many times.

Well done, keep up the good job ya, cheers! I hope that Apple Vacation will be number 1 and popular in Malaysia that customers can choose for travelling for anywhere.

Good service provided by the tour leader, tour guide and bus driver. The tour leader Chloe is very friendly and helpful and will answer all our questions and recommend some of the must-buy in Japan. And the tour guide is very responsible and knowledgeable, i really enjoyed the long drive as there were never a dull moment as he shared many fascinating history and facts of Japan, a very great insight i would say! The bus driver is very punctual and he drove very steadily which made me feel safe even when i nap in the bus haha. Itinerary is well planned, but i hope they can provide longer period of travel plans as i travelled so far i would prefer to explore more of the local beauty and delicacy. Accommodation is always very nice and comfortable which is why we chose GD in the first place. The meals are surprisingly good, very fresh and authentic and big portion.

Petrosains, The Discovery Centre, is a fantastic resource for engaging young minds. The exhibits are incredibly well-designed and offer a hands-on learning experience, covering a wide range of science and technology topics. I appreciate the emphasis on interactivity; it truly encourages curiosity and exploration. Booking tickets in advance is recommended, especially during peak seasons, to streamline the entry process. A visit is a great way to foster a love for STEM subjects.

The facility itself is very well-maintained and clean. The various zones, from the exploration areas to the simulated drilling platforms, provide a unique and memorable adventure. The staff are clearly knowledgeable and passionate about science, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. It’s a worthwhile outing that offers excellent educational value, making it a valuable learning experience for children of all ages, with readily available interactive displays.

Visited during the school holidays with my kids and it was such a fun experience! We bought the tickets online which was very convenient. There are so many interesting places for children to explore and learn, plus a nice café to relax. The 3D show was really amazing and entertaining. Highly recommended to visit and enjoy every corner and activity there!

This discovery centre is so well put together! It’s fully air-conditioned, so maybe bring a jumper for the little ones. It wasn’t overcrowded during our visit — we booked tickets in advance, but even the queue for buying tickets was minimal (probably because we visited outside the Malaysian holidays).

There’s so much to see and do here, so be prepared for a full day — it really keeps the kids interested and engaged. My personal favourite part was right at the end: the dinosaurs! Definitely a great family outing, and the ticket price is very reasonable for what you get.

We didn’t buy in advance as we are unsure what time we can really make it so we bought on the spot when we reach there. I didn’t validate this but the staff told another customer that both online and physical ticket price are the same.

We spent almost a good 3 hours inside and really well managed queue system compared to Aquaria. Due to the birthday free promo, although I can get a free ticket, I chose to not take it reason for the bad queue management and having two children, it’s not great to queue long unnecessarily.

Best 3 hours spent on a public hols.

Our visit to Petrosains in August 2025 was absolutely amazing — easily one of the most informative and entertaining experiences we’ve had in Kuala Lumpur. This science discovery centre is a brilliant mix of facts, hands-on experiences, and science gamification that keeps both kids and adults fully engaged.

We spent almost 4 hours exploring, and the kids were as impressed as they were fascinated — they simply didn’t want to leave! They loved learning about space, the fascinating dinosaurs area, Formula 1 technology, the gas and oil industry, and vertical agriculture. The mind control experiments, earthquake simulations, and 3D movie were huge hits too. Every section is designed to spark curiosity, making science both fun and unforgettable.

It’s the kind of place where you leave with your head buzzing with new knowledge and your heart happy from all the fun.

Tip: Plan at least half a day here — there’s so much to see and do, and you won’t want to rush.

A haven of discovery, this place is an adventure like no other! Young and old are welcome here to learn fun facts about the world around us, there is something for everyone for sure! Buying tickets in advance is highly recommended and the add-on Energy Capsule ride (sold separately from main ticket) was an eye-opening experience. Truly had an amazing time at the Petrosains Discovery Centre, thank you for the experience!

Had an amazing experience here!

Fantastic value for money, with several hours of fun and learning involved. There really is something for all ages and its very well built and maintained.

My partner and I are in our 20’s and we loved it. The science, the scenery, the fun activities as well as the stations that they have to teach you about the interesting subject matters that they have chosen.

I hope this review isnt to vague as I didnt want to give to much away as you really should experience it for yourself.

My favourite was the motorbike simulator 😉

Overall a well deserved 5/5

Absolutely loved our visit to Petrosains Discovery Centre. Booking tickets in advance is a must as slots fill up quickly. We got the first entry time at 9:30 and while there was already a queue, it moved fast and the crowd inside was much lighter compared to later in the day.

There are so many exhibits to explore with themes like space and dinosaurs, plus fun science games like a pulley you can use to lift yourself. The dinosaur section was the kids’ favorite. They also enjoyed the small playground and the arts and crafts area where the staff were very kind and engaging.

Do note that no food or drink is allowed inside. Food can be stored in lockers but drinks cannot, so finish them before entering. We spent hours inside and still felt there was more to discover. A fantastic spot in Kuala Lumpur for families with kids.

I had a great experience refilling my 2024 notebook, and to my surprise, there’s a new plastic-made wire binder that allows users to refill it themselves — which I think is a really cool upgrade! I decided to go for all-plain pages this time, as I want my creativity to stay unobstructed. I also added the 2025–2026 calendar for easy reference.

I was pleasantly assisted by the staff at the shop this morning — she was resourceful and very helpful.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely come back for my next purchase! 🙂

Mr Vijay was really nice. As a solo traveler, I really enjoyed the KL 21 attractions ! It’s such a convenient way to explore Kuala Lumpur, especially if you’re only here for a short time. The route covers 21 main attractions, and I was surprised by how much I managed to see in just a day. From iconic landmarks to cultural spots, it gave me a great introduction to the city and its culture without the stress of figuring out transport on my own. Definitely recommend it if you want to maximize your time and get a real feel for KL!

I (a Malaysian citizen) attended the 21 attractions KL tour and it was an amazing experience. Encik Rahman (Mr Abdul) was an extremely knowledgeable guide with a passion for Malaysian culture & history. His energy was infectious; he made KL history come alive and it was surreal to see the historical attractions in person (when previously I only saw them in history books). Encik Rahman is kind, helpful, enthusiastic, and always willing to give practical advice to tourists and passengers like myself. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe. Would love to go on a trip with him and his organisation the next round, as the learning experience from Encik Rahman was immeasurable. Terima kasih Encik Rahman!

The museum is welcoming to all, with a peaceful ambiance and air-conditioned comfort, perfect for a relaxing visit. The Moza Restaurant serves delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, and the gift shop is a treasure trove of unique crafts. Admission is reasonable at RM20, and the location near the National Mosque and Perdana Botanical Gardens makes it a must-visit. I spent about 1.5 hours here and left inspired by the artistry and history. Highly recommend for anyone interested in culture, history, or simply a beautiful museum experience.

The displays are well-organized across 12 galleries, making it easy to explore the rich heritage of the Islamic world, with highlights from Malaysia, China, India, and beyond.

Where culture and religion beautifully intertwine – the Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur is truly a gem! If you’re into history, art, or just love soaking up new cultures, this place is a must-visit.
The museum itself is a work of art – the domes inside are absolutely mesmerizing ✨. I found myself just standing there, eyes glued to the ceiling, taking it all in. Every exhibit tells a story, and reading about the rich history behind each piece was both fascinating and inspiring.

Don’t skip the souvenir shop on your way out! From elegant silk items to unique postcards, beautiful stationery, and dazzling jewelry – there’s something for every kind of collector or gift hunter.

Definitely a highlight for anyone wanting to explore the artistic and spiritual heritage of the Islamic world, right in the heart of KL!
