1. Makanannya enak dan sangat bervariasi
2. Makanan yang disajikan adalah makanan malaysia / peranakan. Buat orang Indonesia sih sangat cocok atau familiar

They have a wide variety of Malay dishes, making it a good spot for those wanting to sample a broad range of local flavours. While nothing in particular stood out as exceptional, the overall spread is satisfying and reasonably price. I really enjoyed the sup tulang and pisang goreng. Both were pretty tasty.

Parking is convenient which is a big plus. Just a heads up, it does get quite crowded during lunch so maybe go a bit earlier if you can. Overall, a solid spot for a good value Malay cuisine.

Star of the show sini adalah kuih dan dessert.
Daging masak cili api dia memang terpaling tender. Tapi sajian kuih muih dia amat sedap.

Kalau saya nak komen negatif pun mungkin pilihan air kurang; air sejuk cuma air sirap.

Highly recommended.

Located in KL. The one that I went is near to Jalan Tangling/Bukit Aman/Bird Park. Offers a wide variety of traditional Malay dishes, perfect for those looking to explore local flavors. There are multiple private rooms available for special occasions. Conveniently located near parking, and the lunch buffet is reasonably priced at under RM90.

I’m usually not a fan of hotel restaurants or buffets because many of the dishes they serve are mediocre at best, so I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and taste of the food they had at Lemon Garden.

The restaurant was packed! After having tried the dishes here I was not surprised. I had a hearty lunch and the staff was very accommodating! Loved that they had quite a number of options even though the dining hall did not look that big. Quite impressed.

A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Lemon Garden!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Lemon Garden, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The dinner buffet was absolutely awesome — a perfect blend of quality, variety, and great service.

From freshly cooked dishes to raw selections, seafood, desserts, and more — the spread was incredibly impressive. They had almost every type of international cuisine you could think of, all beautifully presented and delicious.

What made the evening even more special was the warm and friendly service from the staff. They were attentive, polite, and made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in a fantastic buffet experience. Thank you, Lemon Garden, for making my birthday such a delightful one!

Celebrated my gf’s birthday here and they are too kind to give complimentary cakes slices and sing birthday greetings. For that I really appreciate the place and the people working there!

The food is great, lots of options even though its during lunch time on a weekday.

Flavorful and taste matches the cuisine.

People working there are extra nice.

This is the only hotel buffet I think is worth the money around KL. You get hotel grade service and atmosphere.

The variaty of food is huge. Their sashimi and cold plate is fresh. They really put effort in each section of cuisine and you will see a good selection.

I am most impressed by their dessert section. The have so many different cakes, fruits, ice cream and chocolate dip.

Absolute delight to dine here. Had the seafood buffet , which was well done, but we found the other dishes like the healty double boiled soups, the scrumptious satay, pasta corner and the beautifully done desserts (durian sponge cake, creme brulee , chocolate dips etc) as highlights as well. Of course when it comes with a theme like lobster and seafood you see ugly behavior of patrons taking mountain fulls of them, but then, we are all. Paying customers yes? It’s up to them to decide on being mindful or not. I would highly commend the restaurant’s crew, wow wow.. efficient , very efficient. I have never been to a buffets where plates and water is cleared and topped up with so much precision and with very friendly service too.. great job guys!!

Sunday night, booked with Eatigo.
Snow crab legs were good but abit on the salty end.
No fresh oysters except baked with cheese.
Highlights – The roast beef and pepper sauce!
Tiger prawns in Thai chilli sauce, Kam Heong Mud crabs DELICIOUS!
The staff were attentive and quick to clear plates.
Their included drink selection is ok. I’d prefer juices than cocktails.
Desserts were extensive with a focus on Lemon this promotion.
Massive venue, aircon blasting which I didn’t mind.

Was very surprised and satisfied with what’s available.

Pick your ingredients and cook them on the grill or place them in 2 different (hotspot) soups of your choice.
Meat, seafood, fried food, sushi, soup and desserts!
The best of all was the unlimited live tiger prawns that you could order.

I hope they maintain the quality!

First impression from the outside? CLEAN!

As you can see from my first video (worth a thousand words), everything looked fresh — from the seafood to the meat, and even the desserts. We practically shucked the food regime right out of their soul!

Service-wise, the staff were quick on their toes when it came to delivering orders, and most importantly, always had a smile on their faces. I did notice one customer complaining about the queue, but the team handled it gracefully with constant polite apologies.

I even spotted the restaurant owner — humble as ever — jumping in to help clear tables without hesitation.

And the price? DAMN! Super affordable for the variety you get. Maybe it’s because of the opening promo (Officially opened a week ago), but even at regular pricing, it’s definitely worth it for the spread they offer.

I have been to another Mitasu outlet in this year, that other place is so so so expensive it is double the price of this place. This place is actually wonderful! Cheap place to eat at, but still the food here is great to eat here! The service is amazing as well, the workers are friendly they are also friendly to young children and parents! The atmosphere even old is still very clean and hygienic. This experience is very worth the money to eat. Although I must say the other outlet has more variety and is more cleaner due to its new opening, this place is also recommended to other people!

Mitasu Japanese Restaurant – Group Dining Experience

We visited Mitasu Japanese Restaurant for their all-you-can-eat Japanese food package, priced at around RM95+ per person. While the food was generally satisfying, our overall experience was marred by the poor group seating arrangement and inefficient ordering system.

We made an advance booking for over 60 pax, but surprisingly, the restaurant could not accommodate us on the same floor. Instead, we were split between the ground floor and first floor, despite having paid in full. According to the person in charge, only groups of 90 pax or more are allowed to book an entire floor. This explanation was frustrating—if the venue can accommodate 90 people on one floor, why can’t they seat 60 together? It felt like poor planning and left a bad impression.

As for the dining format, it’s not a buffet where you help yourself. Instead, you place orders through the waitstaff using a digital pad. This system was quite clunky—sometimes our orders were duplicated (likely due to accidental double taps), and other times, items seemed to be missed entirely. Thankfully, our group managed to finish everything that was brought to the table.

Drinks are self-service, which is fine. However, to improve the experience, implementing a QR code ordering system would be much more efficient. It would allow diners to reorder at their own pace without having to search for waitstaff—especially important given the strict 2-hour dining limit. Much of our time was wasted waiting for food to be served.

Summary:

✅ Food quality: Decent and value for money

❌ Group seating: Poorly arranged despite advance booking

❌ Ordering system: Inefficient and prone to errors

⚠️ Suggestion: QR code ordering would significantly improve the experience

We hope Mitasu can improve its group management and ordering process for a smoother dining experience.

Food quality has indeed dropped since we last visited Mitasu at Bukit Bintang. Many premium food has been taken off the menu especially fresh oysters. Sashimi are a bit too thinly slice. Cold shrimps are a bit on the smaller size & not too fresh either. But their service is still good & attentive. Ambience is a bit stuffy as well when the room is crowded.

Made reservations 2 weeks in advanced. Upon arrival, was seated at a somewhat closed space area. We had the space for ourselves and waiters/waitresses were very attentive to our table too.

Only downside to this visit was the parking. Came on a Saturday, parking was so limited that I had to drive around and keep making U turns at the main road just to find parking. Ended up, the guy taking care of the parking asked me to park right at the entrance to the restaurant. Maybe the owners can look into this parking issue.

Food was okay. I find the salmon lack the “fish” taste abit compared to other sushi shops. Other items in the menu are good. The sesame flavoured ice cream is recommended.

Overall, would recommend giving this place a try. But travel here by grab or public transport. I lost my mood wasting time looking for parking here.

Barbecue Nation Pavilion Kuala Lumpur offers a delightful dining experience that pleasantly surprised me during my recent visit. Having visited around seven different Barbecue Nation outlets during my four years in India, I was genuinely excited to discover that this popular restaurant chain has made its way to Malaysia. The ambiance at Pavilion KL is lively and welcoming, creating a perfect setting for groups and families alike. The restaurant was quite full when I visited, which reflected its popularity and the quality of the food and service. Although the place was busy, the staff maintained a friendly and courteous attitude throughout my meal. Their warm hospitality was apparent and much appreciated. However, I noticed that the staff’s reaction time tended to be a bit slow, especially given how packed the place was. While they were polite and professional, quicker service would certainly enhance the overall dining experience. I hope this aspect improves as the restaurant adapts further to local demand. The wide variety of grilled items and buffet options offered the classic Barbecue Nation variety I enjoyed in India. The quality and taste of the dishes were consistent with the chain’s reputation, pleasing my palate with flavorful and well-prepared meats and sides. The live grill concept remains a highlight, allowing diners to enjoy freshly cooked options right at their table.Overall, Barbecue Nation Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a highly recommended spot for anyone craving a robust barbecue buffet in an energetic and friendly environment. It’s reassuring to see this trusted brand thrive in Malaysia. With some improvements in service speed, it will surely become an even more enjoyable dining destination. My experience was positive, and I look forward to returning on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Limitless mind

Barbeque Nation at Pavilion KL is undoubtedly one of the finest places for Indian cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. For the price, the quality and variety of food are simply unmatched, it’s a true haven for food lovers. The buffet is an incredible deal, starting with the live barbeque on the table, followed by soup, salad, starters, main course, and dessert. Every dish is mouthwatering and delicious.

Barbeque Nation is a big chain of restaurants in India, and I’ve tried it across different cities and states there, as well as in Al Barsha, Dubai. Yet, the Pavilion KL branch stands out as the best among all.

The staff and managers deserve special mention, they are polite, humble, respectful, and attentive. They always ensure we are well taken care of and keep serving food with a smile until we let them know we’re full. Every visit leaves us satisfied yet never uncomfortably heavy.

One of my absolute favourite dining spots in KL! Thanks to the entire team for making every visit such a wonderful experience.

Highly recommended to try Northern Indian cuisine with a style. Prices are quite reasonable and the service is excellent by the team. Ive been twice here and both times the experience was good .

You can start of with their hot grill on your table ,constantly filled by the team, which includes prawn ,mutto, chicken fish and etc. Vegetarians do not worry as choices for you on the grill are plenty.

Besides the grill, an entire delicious buffet line up that specializes on norethern indian cuisine is available for your feast. Ensure to walk in with empty stomach, and drink less water, and Enjoy your feast.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear this dinner was going to be something special. The ambience was warm and inviting, the staff were incredibly attentive, and the food? Absolutely bursting with flavor!

We indulged in a feast that included BBQ fish, chicken, pineapple, and mutton kebabs—each grilled to perfection right at our table. The dahi papdi chaat and alu tikki chaat added a delightful crunch and tang, while the dal makhani and dal fry brought that comforting richness we all crave. Garlic naan was soft and fragrant, pairing beautifully with the butter chicken and bhindi. And just when we thought our taste buds couldn’t be happier, the dessert spread swept us off our feet!

Every dish was a hit, and the service was beyond exceptional—I’d honestly rate them a 20/10 for how well they looked after us. The team made sure we were never waiting, always smiling, and constantly enjoying.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate, indulge, or simply enjoy a top-tier Indian BBQ n food experience. Keep up the amazing work, Barbeque Nation!

Muito Bom! Brazilian BBQ Buffet offers a fantastic opportunity for a substantial and flavorful dining experience. The sheer abundance of meats, grilled to perfection, is truly impressive, and the attentive staff contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the grilled meats is exceptional, ensuring a satisfying meal for meat lovers.

While the buffet is primarily meat-focused, the selection of accompanying sides provides complementary tastes. The overall value is quite competitive, making it an excellent choice for a celebratory dinner or a casual gathering. I recommend trying the smoked ribs and the pineapple offering – a delightful combination.

My fav would be the glazed pineapple / lamb shoulder / chicken wings / buttered corn / garlic beef (jucier than garlic beef).

Too bad they don’t offer free flow of drinks in their buffet package.

The food that I liker|thy the least
– mushroom soup (lots of shroomss but somehow it taste sweet?!)
– chicken tandoori (just color, tasteless)
– the prawn they used are frozen ones (those half translucent + chewy)

Dining at Muito Boom Restaurant is always a pleasant experience, thanks to the friendly and very attentive supervisor who ensures every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Their hospitality adds a personal touch that makes the visit even more enjoyable.

While the main dishes are satisfying, there is still room for improvement in the side dish buffet and sauce selection. Adding more variety and options would elevate the overall dining experience, especially for guests who enjoy pairing their meals with different sides and sauces.

Overall, with its warm service and good atmosphere, Muito Boom Restaurant stands out and with a few adjustments to the buffet and sauce offerings, it could become an even better spot to dine.

Had a delicious meal here, the service is attentive and friendly. I was able to try 22 variety of items they were offering. I enjoy having the rotation of meats brought to your table by the kind staff. My highlights were the chicken wings, garlic beef, grilled fish, duck, pineapple, squid and bbq brisket. But everything we tried was very tasty and great marinate, only wish i had room in my stomach for more. and on this breezy holiday evening, it was the perfect way to end the weekend.

I’m from Brazil, so I was really looking forward to trying the food at this restaurant. The staff is very kind and friendly, which made the experience pleasant. However, I must say the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The feijoada and farofa didn’t resemble the traditional Brazilian flavors. I’m used to. The one item that did remind us a bit of home was the picanha, which was quite good. The meats served at the barbecue are tasty, but it’s important to note that they’re more Malaysian style than Brazilian. I recommend trying the meat with cheese, it’s a local twist that I really enjoyed!

Best Makan

I recently dined at Muito Bom Brazilian BBQ, and it was a delightful experience overall. The lamb shoulder slices paired with mint sauce, garnished with charred pineapple and served alongside mashed potatoes, were exceptional. The lamb was tender, and the mint sauce was superb, complementing the dish beautifully.

The side dishes were a mixed experience: the salad and potato salad were both enjoyable, though the coleslaw didn’t quite meet my taste preferences.

We also tried the black Angus steak, cooked to a perfect medium-well. It was beautifully marinated, enhancing the flavor and making it a standout dish.

Overall, Muito Bom Brazilian BBQ delivered a memorable meal, with a few minor misses, but plenty of highlights to recommend. Definitely worth a visit for meat lovers!

Used to be at level 6 but moved to LG. Lots of choices for foods. Raw, Cold, steam, fried, wok fried, tempura items. See until eyes blur. Raw oyster refill quite fast. You get to have hotpot at your own table as well. Drinks goes from sake, red wine, white wine, juices, soft drinks, mocktail, beer and hot tea. Fresh coconut juice as well. Dessert have lots cold desserts, hot dessert, choco lava cake [waiting time 20min] and even choco fountain.

Have skipped for few years where I use to dine here annually during my birthday month(I’m member which entitled for buy1 free1). This year decided to visit again and they have relocated from top floor to now lower ground.

The buffet spread are quite consistent to what I remembered and they have removed member special dish.

Love the plump oyster and also cheesy oyster which I will consume around 7-10pcs. Sashimi are fresh and I liked the new celery sauce salmon sashimi.

Cook station like teppanyaki, pasta etc are good too. Cooked dish are almost same as last time and their desserts are good. One pastry that leave an impression are the durian horsecake.

Overall food are good. The place are still huge but somehow feel like missing something for the cooked dish. Couldn’t remember what was missing.

Will I repeat? Maybe yes again on my birthday month.

It’s my second time there. There were too much food but I can see the mgt tries to offer variety by providing more on-demand options. noteworthy is the service last night. I placed a plate of snow crab on my table and left. When I returned a stack of serviette was there, I thanked my husband for it and he mentioned it wasn’t him. So, I’ll say service girls were attentive. now for the food, I find good quality in salmon sashimi, crab salad, boiled prawns, grilled prawns, grilled cod, salad, strawberries ice cream. Tuna sashimi, chilli crab, red dragon fruit were so-so. The flower crab used in chilli crab dish was mushy.

During my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton, I chose to have breakfast at Makan Kitchen each morning, even though I had access to the Executive Lounge. The main reason was the friendly service and wide selection of local Malaysian, Malay, Indian, western food and fresh juice beverages.
Don’t miss the nasi lemak section with their concoctions of sambal that is so delicious.

I especially appreciated the freshly prepared juices made upon order. Plates were cleared promptly, and all their staff were consistently attentive and efficient.

A special mention goes to Mr. Adib at the drinks section — his helpfulness and cheerful smile truly enhanced the dining experience and make us feel at home.

Thank you, and I will certainly return to Makan Kitchen on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at DoubleTree Kuala Lumpur in mid-July during our medical visit to Kuala Lumpur.

We were pleased to note that the breakfast buffet featured an extensive selection of dishes thoughtfully curated to reflect the city’s multicultural community, including Western, Chinese, Malay, and Indian cuisines.

The staff demonstrated commendable attentiveness and were especially considerate in providing assistance to guests using wheelchairs.

I can only give 2 star for their service & dining environment. My family & I total 8 pax we’re having seafood buffet at Makan Kitchen Doubletree Hilton JB. My mom , my husband , nephew and me myself had diarrhoea and stomach upset on the following day.
Overall the foods were not fresh enough and mostly were frozen meat. Beef was harden and not eatable. Crab meat wasn’t fresh . Half portion Lobster with cheese well tasted. Sushi rice were not well cooked and rice tasted harder. Fried durian was good and sweet.
Overall I will not visited this restaurant in future . We paid for the price and lesson

Service and atmosphere is hotel grade, very good. But the food is a bit lacking in variaty and quality.

Chinese section I found a huge plate of steam fish with only bone left, it feels “weird” to see that in buffet. Very little choices and no herbal soup.

Western food is lacking also. I can only find bread and butter… No pizza, cereal, pasta or the like.

The best food I found is the malay satey. Both beef and chicken options are available.

I seriously did not have much food here because I just could not bring myself to eat most of them. They are not appetizing for me.

Overall just average. Lil bit underrated based other reviews until you tried it yourselves. Place is cozy & half of their customers are foreigner. Food choice are okay but wish they would have even more despite its within a 5 star hotel. They serve western, thailand, japanese cuisine during my dining period which held on Friday dinner. Unfortunately im very disappointed that they dont serve oyster as thats one of my motives actually. Sashimis & sushi are nice & fresh. But king prawn size just below average & seafood are limited choice. Also their so called trademark dish which is smoke beef is terrible, not tender and it is hard to eat and chew. Drinks are limited to just juices and coffee, other like soda or alcohol needed a topup. Fruits, deserts & ice cream just soso only. Conclusion to my pov, buffet is overpriced. Not recommended

This is a beautiful restaurant in one of Malaysia’s most charming hotels.

The dinner buffet at Contango is an amazing abundance of international cuisine, and we are always spoilt for choice. In our opinion, Contango has one of the best buffet services in KL.

The Asian station is extensive with plenty of local Malaysian favourites and an astonishing abundance of fresh local herbs and salads. It’s one of the best arrays I’ve ever come across – there was even a DIY Pie Tee station! In addition to Malaysian favourites, we had the opportunity to enjoy fresh Japanese sashimi, sushi, and tempura, Indian dishes, some Thai dishes ( a fabulously authentic tom yum), and Chinese stir fry staples.

The Western station was an island of pizza, pasta cooked to order, seafood (fresh mussels, prawns, and flower crab), lamb sausages and other hot dishes like ox tail soup, cream of vegetable soup, and more.
The star dish, in our opinion, is a roast beef that was tender and juicy *chef’s kiss*

Finally, the buffet gives access to the Contango Cafe and a wide choice of coffee, tea, juices, and desserts on a dessert bar that always blows our minds.

Fresh local fruits are lined up alongside cabinets of tarts, entremet, scoop ice cream, macarons, puddings, and jellies. This is the stuff of our fantasies, and we never tire of the variety.

Contango is an impressively well-maintained restaurant that feels intimate for two but can accommodate big groups, too. The wide ceiling to floor windows look out onto one of KL’s prettiest city scapes at Jalan Sultan Hishamudin.

We love every meal we have here and will return again and again. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, too.

We celebrated our 18th anniversary with a buffet dinner at Contango, and it was a wonderful experience.
The food was delicious and fresh — we especially loved the roasted lamb and the desserts!
The team was very attentive; they took note of my remark during booking and thoughtfully arranged a quiet, window-side table for us.
They even surprised us with a complimentary cake to help us celebrate this special occasion.
Thank you for making our evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious array of food from around the globe. Not many fully vegetarian dishes – probably just the stir fried sayur and paneer. Other salads had seafood and chicken and beef in them. A lot of options for meat eaters and pescatarians.

Unnecessarily asked for full payment when I booked bc it was a public holiday. Not stated on their website – only thing is a large group must pay a deposit of about 20%, not a full payment. So asking for the full payment for a small group before anything is just ridiculous. Let us eat first at least la. It wasn’t even a full house although it was Merdeka.

They replenished the food quite quickly, and the standouts were the fish cooked in a sweet and sour sauce, white fish in a creamy gravy, pizza, thai beef basil, arrabiata pasta, sushi, and chicken kebab. As a spicy lover, the sambal belacan hit the spot.

The serawa durian was amazing. Creamy, full of durian, thick. Other pengats like pulut hitam and red bean were quite diluted. Seri muka was rich and great. The western desserts like cakes were unremarkable.

Ended the meal with teh tarik and other refreshments. Try out the dragon fruit juice!

The staffs named Asad and Muhammad waited our table and they were very soft spoken and kind.

Contango is a beautifully-decorated eating venue.

Great experience but just a little disappointed that they don’t provide oyster in their menu. Fresh sashimi, prawns, mussels and calms are great and they keep provide resupply. Their drinks are also quite disappointing that they just provide concentrated juice and plain water which is quite lack of options. U need to add on RM20++ for sparkling or soda. Overall the food are fresh and the environment is great.

Had an amazing buffet dinner at Traders Hotel and it was absolutely worth it! They served an impressive spread of fresh and flavorful seafood – from succulent mud crabs coated in rich, spicy sauce, to juicy prawns, tender scallops, and so much more. Every bite was bursting with freshness, and the flavors were spot on.

What really stood out was the quality – the seafood tasted as if it came straight from the ocean to the plate. Pairing the crab with soft, golden fried mantou made it even more indulgent.

If you’re a seafood lover, this is definitely a feast you don’t want to miss. Perfect for treating yourself, your family, or friends to a memorable dining experience.

Ate at Gobo Chit Chat for the first time in 10 years and the food was delicious! I tried the steak and got their peanut butter chocolate cake + ice cream for dessert. The gravy that came with that steak was silky and so savoury and that cake slice was huge! Honestly the price was quite fair for a hotel right next to the KLCC

First time to this restaurant at Traders Hotel. Took some time to serve the food but set that aside. The roasted Cameron tomato soup was creamy however just a bit sourish to my palate. Caesar Salad was good, crisp lettuce and good spread of shaved Parmesan, beef strips was generous. Seafood paste was good, tangy and tantalising flakes sprinkle onto the prawns and mixed greens, carrot etc. The Fish & Chips presented crispy battered Seabass fillet, with tartar sauce and fries. The malt vinegar was a bit sourish to my level. Dessert was a rich pound of mango cheesecake, nice and filling. Overall, just serve the food slightly faster and it’ll be alright.

2nd dinner was better. Mushroom soup was creamy and delightful. Love the satay, grilled & tenderised meat matched with peanut sauce. The sweet spicy sour Seabass tantalise your taste bud, giving satisfying feel to the tummy. Brownie was served warm and chocolaty.
