Suzie Wong offers a truly unique experience, combining an intriguing atmosphere with live entertainment. The ambiance is a major draw, and the show itself is a highlight, offering a spectacle of performance and artistry. It’s a destination primarily for those seeking a memorable evening and an immersive experience, rather than a traditional dining occasion. The presentation of the venue is exceptional.
While the entertainment and setting are noteworthy, the culinary offerings appear to be more of a supporting element. It’s likely that patrons will appreciate the showmanship more than the food itself, positioning Suzie Wong as an excellent choice for a special outing with a focus on an engaging, theatrical performance.

Basically a hype place with below average food. Despite the effort from the chef to create something unique and fusion, for me the food is either too blend or too mixed up in weird taste that does not match and too overlapping the right taste.
Crew was awesome to create a lively environment, Kudos to few that even had to dance & entertain patron while preparing food.
For me is a one time hit diner, just to see and feel, done and forget kind of place.

The place was nice , the show was fun.
The food was awful maybe the worst ever in Malaysia and in life. We tried seafood noodles but the noodles and seafood were emerged in a chicken broth that create a very weird and awful taste . The dish was even bad to look at it (similar to vomit). We highly recommend to remove it from the menu for the sake of culinary basics.
The service was good. The waiters were nice but communication wasn’t good , they couldn’t explain the food , ingredients maybe the language was a barrier bcz they couldn’t speak well english.
Plus it is an expensive place.
You rather go to take drink after dinner.

Finding Suzie Wong was an adventure, we wandered with a few others also trying to locate it! Hidden and mysterious, it added to the experience. The venue was stunning, and the food delicious. It was pricier than expected, but worth it for a unique, unforgettable night in KL.

Was decent experience but not up to my expectations. Went on a Thursday night. Floor show only lasted 10 min and repeats every hour. Food was adequate, large portions and tasted ok, but not amazing. Cocktails were excellent
Good for groups or parties. Not much atmosphere until after 8:30pm. Good to go once but would not return

Suzie Wong just can’t go wrong.
Everything was sublime. The food, the staff, the energy. Truly a place with both style and substance.
Gonna be an anniversary night that’s hard to forget.
(We were even given complimentary drinks on the house as it was our anniversary).

There are more than 30 clubs here… this is a place for night life. Clubs with different themes and different concepts. Parking space also available. I enjoyed really well during my visit there.

Not much to say since most reviews have already said the same thing. Was here just to walk thru the millennials clubbing scene. ♂️
From a gen x point of view , this place is a huge evolution compared to all other yesteryears club neighborhood s like Bangsar Telawi 3 or even Jalan P Ramlee. ( Just as an observer who passed the road on regular basis from work ).
The place is built as an enclave of night clubs. There are more than 8 clubs located side by side with each club having amazing huge entrance displays of light shows enticing patrons to come in.
Here, the night clubs entrance are no longer static wooden/ glass entrance like the old school Hard Rock cafe but a more dynamic hi tech display of light n sound. ( I was passing by on the way to an arab restaurant there so just decided to walk thru the walk path of KL night entertainment).
I was there on a weeknight so the crowd wasnt overwhelming as the weekends ( standard preference for old people ).
U wana know how each club is ,that i cant help la ♂️.
This review is just to notice the KL club scene. As KL-ites , at least we ought to know the existence of this “God forsaken” area… Ok ok…just some light anecdote . No offense gais …altho technically true ..ok ok ..enuf of this .

This one whole street has around 30 clubs…They charge at the entrance and you have to choose between the options for drinks they give. Mostly young and decent crowd. The party goes till dawn…Most clubs are class and decent.

This mall is absolutely stunning, luxurious, and incredibly well-designed. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with an elegant and vibrant atmosphere that exudes sophistication. While the mall spans only three floors, with the ground floor entirely dedicated to dining options, it still offers a highly enjoyable experience for visitors.
One of the mall’s standout features is the impressive variety of restaurants and dining options available. Whether you’re in the mood for international cuisine, quick bites, or fine dining, the choices are abundant and cater to all tastes. The food court and standalone restaurants are beautifully arranged, making it easy to find something delicious to suit your cravings.
What truly impressed me, however, was the unique design of each store and brand within the mall. Every shop has its own distinct style and layout, creatively reflecting the essence and identity of the brand. This attention to detail adds an artistic touch to the shopping experience, making each visit to a store feel like stepping into a carefully curated world.
In my opinion, this mall is among the best in the world. It combines luxury, variety, and an unmatched shopping ambiance. If you’re looking for a place that offers more than just shopping—an experience that is both relaxing and inspiring—this mall should definitely be on your list.

Once the dancefloor deity of KL nightlife, now just a haunted disco ball with abandonment issues
At its peak, Zouk Club KL roared like a nightclub leviathan, five thousand sweaty bodies pulsing to international DJs, overpriced vodka sodas, and more strobe lights than a Marvel movie seizure warning. You didn’t go to Zouk, you survived it
Fast forward to now, and TREC feels like an awkward high school reunion for clubs that peaked too early. Zouk closed in 2024, taking the soul of the precinct with it. The rest of the tenants fled like rats from a rave ship, leaving behind the occasional sad shisha bar, unlicensed massage promo, and one guy in sunglasses at 2 AM still trying to order bottle service for himself
Footfall down 70 percent
Tenant mortality rate over 50 percent
Energy level, somewhere between abandoned carpark and forgotten wedding venue
To be fair, it still boasts a prime location near TRX and you do get a pretty nice skyline view, especially when you’re trying to remember why you came in the first place
Sure, you can still visit, if you enjoy the soft whisper of tumbleweeds and reminiscing about the time you blacked out here in 2017. Spark Club tries to spark something post Zouk, but let’s be honest, it’s like rebooting a dead relationship with cheaper lighting
Good for, ghosts of parties past, urban exploration, and accidental existential dread. Not for, actual fun

A very nice bar! Good beer, good music, friendly staff. You can pay by card. I didn’t stay long, I just had a beer and left because the street is full of lots of other nice bars that are worth trying.

The best place with the best music, food, service and VIBE!

Great atmosphere- absolutely awful drinks. All with an after taste of water and over priced for what they are. If you see a friendly face don’t the street stop there! Much better service and the drinks are lovely. Here they taste like British summer fruit squash. Perfect for those who are sober or who have bottomless pockets to try get a buzz from simply water hydration.

Live music which gives it a very cool vibe to go for beers or dinner. Excellente service with the staff always smilling and checking in on you. Just at the heart of the night life district so also a good place to start your evening. Only downside is that the prices are a little steep but still worth checking out and having a good time there!

One of my favorite “go to” places for beautiful outdoor/indoor latin ambiance, consistently prepared western, Latin, and local flavors, and friendly service. Today I had great bar service from Ali and ordered the special Sunday roast lamb w potatoes and carrots. Served w au jus and mint sauce and was very tender, moist and flavorful. Food and beverages are a little pricey so I have to space out my visits when in KL but that’s OK because there are so many restaurants to try.

Highly recommend if your in ChangKat. We were lucky enough to see a Lion dance for Chinese NY. It was great. Thanks all x

Tap Room KL offers a delightful escape. The outdoor setting is truly a highlight, providing a unique and relaxing ambiance. The menu features a range of options, with consistently delicious food and a notable selection of beverages. It’s a great choice for a casual get-together or a more special occasion.
While the prices are slightly elevated, the generous portion sizes and attentive service justify the cost. The atmosphere is conducive to unwinding and enjoying the company of friends. I’m impressed by the beautiful design and find it to be a wonderfully curated experience overall.

Wow, I wish we had come here sooner!
The food was excellent, the pizza was super, but the other dishes they have are also great – with some excellent vegetarian options.
They also have great beer – paperkite, or you can have cocktails from tap if you prefer.
The atmosphere and ambiance is a bit more refined, with plenty of seating and the staff were lovely.
Definitely recommend.
Oh they have a membership – do you can get free parking and other discounts.

Really enjoyed the outdoor environment at Tap Room KL—it gives a refreshing, natural getaway vibe right in the middle of the city. It’s a great spot for special occasions like birthdays or gatherings, thanks to the beautiful ambiance and overall setup.
Food was decent and met expectations, though nothing particularly standout. That said, the overall experience made it worthwhile.
Do note that it can get crowded, especially on weekends. Waiting time can be long, so I’d recommend making an early reservation to avoid the queue.

They have changed to a new menu since my last visit. The food is still mouthwatering.
The price is at the slight high side but it is reasonable with the generous portion. The food portion can be shared by 2 people if you’re not a big eater. They serve good beer and pizzas too. I’d like to recommend unagi taco with my recent visit.
Service is good as the staff are very attentive. I like the atmosphere and I think it’s a good place to chill with friends during the day or night time.

Tap Room at Bamboo Hills is a lovely hidden gem in KL. The atmosphere is relaxing with a touch of nature—perfect for brunch, gatherings, or even a quiet catch-up. I really enjoyed the outdoor setup and high windows that open up to a calming view, giving it a refreshing escape-from-the-city vibe.
The food is good and the menu has plenty of choices, from hearty mains to light bites. Nothing overly fancy, but it hits the spot. Drinks are a highlight, especially their award-winning beers which live up to the hype. Cocktails are on tap, so don’t expect mixologist-level creations, but still decent for a casual sip.
Service is attentive and smooth—special shoutout to the staff who are professional and welcoming, making sure guests feel well taken care of. Parking is available but on the pricier side.
Overall, Tap Room KL is a great spot to unwind and enjoy good food and drinks in a beautiful setting. Just be prepared for crowds on weekends, so an early reservation is highly recommended.

A nice spot to dine amidst some man made nature-like surroundings. I love the high windows which overlooks to the pool outside. The menu is quite extensive but we went for the usual selections. Lots of choices for everyone. I actually came here for the award winning beer and they did not dissappint. They were quite good. The cocktails are a bit tame and not made fresh as they are all on tap. The service is quite good and out food came out pretty quickly whilst we chatted and caught each other up. Ample but pricey parking space around this area as well.

I have to say, their truffle pizza is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Actually, all their pizzas are really good! Last time, we ordered too much and ended up taking a whole pizza home — even after reheating, it still tasted amazing
The place is great for gatherings. It can get a bit loud, but the lively atmosphere makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends. They offer a wide variety of platters too, which is perfect for sharing with a big group. All the plater tasting delicious and the portion really worth the price too
Also, taking a walk around Bamboo Hills after your meal is such a nice way to end the night

Overall, my family and I dined in the outdoor area. It wasn’t hot, thanks to the large fans nearby. It was a pleasant dining experience—the restaurant serves a fusion-style menu with well-presented dishes and attentive service. Drinking water is provided free of charge. Just a heads-up: remember to validate or pay for parking before exiting to avoid the long queue (you can check with the waiter). Bonus: according to the staff, there’s a live band every Friday and Saturday starting from 8:30 PM until late. Love the vibes there!

A really unique venue that lives up to the hype. Definitely try to book ahead and arrive for sunset — the view is stunning, and on a clear day you can see for miles before watching the city light up at night. It’s a perfect spot for a romantic date. There’s a cover charge that includes two drinks, but only from a limited list (avoid the white wine, it’s undrinkable). Cocktails are well made, though naturally on the pricier side. Staff are friendly and accommodating, which makes the experience even better.

Super consigliato.

We chose Helipad to celebrate our anniversary, expecting a special evening with a great view and atmosphere. While the location is undeniably nice and the servers were friendly and attentive, our experience was unfortunately ruined by the manager’s attitude.
We made a reservation in advance and specifically requested a sofa table by the edge to enjoy the view. The reservation was confirmed, but when we arrived, the manager led us to a small table in the center with no view. When I reminded him of our request, he dismissed it coldly, saying that couples weren’t allowed to sit by the edge. His tone and demeanor were condescending—he made us feel like we didn’t matter and that he was doing us a favor by seating us at all.
The worst part? We could clearly see another couple seated in the sofa area, along with several other small groups of just 3–4 people. So the explanation we were given didn’t hold up, and it felt like we were being singled out unfairly.
We stayed briefly only because the entrance fee included two drinks, but left as soon as we could. The DJ didn’t help the mood either.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. There are plenty of other rooftop venues in KL that offer stunning views and treat guests with respect. I strongly recommend exploring those instead. Helipad is not worth your time or money.

Come here way past 6pm, otherwise you’ll get burnt. There is also a fee to enter the helipad, which is equivalent to 2 cocktails (included in the price). The cocktails were OK. I also loved their sliders. The pizza is not to my liking, since it has a sweet dough and it was not well seasoned. The view was awesome.

We went to Heli Lounge around 10pm and fascinated by the view. You can watch the amazing city lights whole night. This is what I like mostly when I go to the rooftop bars. There is a fee like 100RM and you can get 2 free cocktail tickets with this fee. I tried Strawberry Daiquiri and Lychee Martini and they weren’t bad. For the view, one of the best rooftop in KL.

Would not even recommend wasting your time or money visiting this place. Firstly 2 elevators seem to be out of order and run down. One with no working lights or camera so you step into a dark elevator and one immediately to your right when you enter had wood on the floor like it’s terribly out of order.
When you finally get up to the entrance you have to pay a 100RM per person fee to visit the rooftop bar. The two “complimentary drinks” you get with the entrance fee is limited. For the alcohol you can only get rum, vodka and gin. Anything outside of that you would have to pay additionally. I ordered rum and mango and a mojito and they were BOTH the worst drink I have ever had in my life TO THIS DAY. (And I have been drinking for decades ) The mango drink almost tasted spoiled / rancid. The mojito was watered down and again tasted terrible…
When you finally get to the top after walking up some stairs and the 360 views wasn’t all that spectacular and if you wanted to sit on their couches for a better view you had to pay an additional 1000RM. To make matters worst this staff is extremely rude, disrespectful, distasteful and unprofessional. Any an all complaints fell to deaf ears. The staff literally told our friend to jump of the building if he wanted a better view.
Never in my life have an experienced something like that from a representative of a business. I was in immediate shock hearing that and even reflecting on it more. Suicide is a serious problem globally so to even make such a disrespectful and distasteful joke to a paying customer should literally be grounds for immediate termination. I will never in my life recommend this place to anyone and if you would like to pay money for a rude staff, bad vibes and bad experience by all means visit this dump of a bar

Customer Reviews
The venue was hidden behind a facade for a toy store, once I realised that getting in was easy. The door opened to dimly lit hallways leading to the back where the bar was located. The service was great, I was sat immediately and walked through the options.
Cocktails were very well made and showcased local ingredients and flavours, would highly recommended for anyone looking to try high quality Cocktails, or for an atmospheric experience.

Tucked away in a quiet corner, this hidden bar turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
The atmosphere inside was warm and inviting, with great music that set the tone without being overpowering.
I arrived early in the evening, so it wasn’t too crowded, perfect for sitting back, sipping on a well crafted drink and having a relaxed conversation.
What really stood out was their thoughtfully curated menu.
It offers a creative mix of cocktails that draw inspiration from the classics while incorporating local flavors in a subtle and refreshing way.
Each drink felt well executed, showcasing a real appreciation for the craft.
If you’re someone who enjoys the finer side of mixology and a laid back, intimate setting, this place is absolutely worth a visit.
Highly recommended for cocktail lovers!

What a 180. I arrived around 6:30pm and loved it. Atmosphere amazing. Music perfect. A slight (not overpowering) scent of incense that added an air of exoticism. Cocktails very well thought out. And then…
On my 3rd cocktail something started dripping on me from the ceiling. I got no apology. They didn’t check to see what it was (I’m assuming condensation from the AC). Instead they say I can move one seat over – at the end of the bar hanging with the servers (and their friends that showed up and turned it into a sports bar.) And then… I go to use restroom. Only one men’s stall and it’s occupied. Eventually someone comes out – it’s a server and they don’t bother to wash their hands. And THAT was the last straw.

SkyBar offers a truly memorable experience, largely due to its unparalleled views. The location, perched high above the city, provides a unique perspective, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion or simply to enjoy the scenery. The ambiance is sophisticated and the atmosphere is often quite lively, especially later in the evening.
The service is generally excellent and attentive, contributing to a relaxed and pleasurable time. The overall feeling is one of luxury and indulgence. A premium experience is guaranteed, although the prices reflect the spectacular setting and the level of refinement. Expect a high-end establishment.

We were so happy to get a window seat with that amazing view over KL — it really is spectacular. But then came the twist: after midnight they stopped serving, so we just sat there staring at the Petronas Towers with empty glasses. Great place, great vibe, but what’s the point of the best seat in the house if you can’t order a drink?

Ho preso salmone teriyaki e burger wagyu buonissimi! Prezzi onestissimi.

The place is located strategically beside KLCC Convention Center.
The rooftop level has an amazing view over the KLCC park and the twin towers plus the swimming pool is spacious.
Staffs are well coordinated, attentive and treated us well and fairly.
Food items are alright.
The pricing is a bit high for its quality but the location and the view is justified.

Cocktails were too sweet and weak, beers were not served in an ice cold cup which made it almost taste warm.
But the live music made up for it and great decor. Great location as well right beside the taxi stand.

Drinks so sweet. Extra super duper sweet, if you get what I mean.
Staff were rude, some nice, some just not hospitable. Ladies drink can forget it. Even the ladies didn’t want it, and the staff threatened to charge the men RM20 who wanted to just taste why the drink suck. Even free, we didn’t want to drink. Our tone shows our dissatisfaction with this bar, we didn’t even finish our drinks. Btw, we also bought and paid for drinks for the ladies which they only took a sip too.
Plus it was a quiet Thursday.

I like the decor and the atmosphere here. Drinks are generally good, with some nice house specials cocktails. The live bands are very good too and i enjoy visiting bars with good live music. The only bad experience I had was I went with a group of friends (who are travellers) and we had requested they split the bills as some of the friends do not have cash and wanted to pay with their cards and the server refused and asked that we split it ourselves. Other than that one time, all good.

Bad service, we came at 2am on weekend night yes i know youre tired but you should still be profesional if you want people to leave fast then say “we are closing , cannot order anymore” . You expect 2 people to drink 3 alcohol in 30 minutes? We pay hundreds you know ? Not rm30 …the waiter make annoyed face and didnt ask how the service was, straight away show receipt and walk away after took money. But i think only 1 waiter is problem , the another one is very good always serve us nicely.

Definitely worth going to. Absolutely great place, food, drinks, and staff! Shoutout to Ms. Jenny who made it feel so welcoming. We played billiards while having drinks after having our dinner there which were exceptional and greatly proportioned. Wish we found this place sooner because we went on our last day in Malaysia. Hopefully will definitely come back when get back!

This was a great place for a break during our exploration of Malaysia – offering western style food in great ambience with live-music (every Friday and Saturday). We were nicely seated on the outside terrace overlooking the street in front.
Service with a smile and great support from the manager to get us something not on the menu.
For now alcohol-free beer remains hard to find in KL, not enough demand locally.
One comment: service with a broad smile but kitchen is challenged to get meals out at same time, our 4 dishes arrived each individually over the span of some 5 minutes; this seems to be a challenge everywhere. Looking forward to coming back one day.

Had a long-overdue gathering with my cousins and really enjoyed the experience. There was a wide selection of food and drinks, and the staff were incredibly attentive. Despite us being quite picky, they patiently customised our drinks to suit our preferences. I’ll admit—even I was getting frustrated, but the staff remained calm and accommodating throughout.
For the food, they went the extra mile—adjusting orders to exclude sauces, mayonnaise, and even sugar, just as requested. The portions were very generous; most of us couldn’t even finish our meals. The drinks were great too.
The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. They had live music, though it wasn’t particularly impressive. There were also games like snooker and darts, which added to the fun.
The only downside was the washrooms—they were located outside the premises and weren’t very clean. Other than that, it was a pleasant spot for a catch-up.

Nice Peruvian/tapas restaurant in KL. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. Yuzu Margaritas were delicious, pisco sour was a nice flavour but had ice in it. It’s not an over ice drink. The food was good, and tacos were delicious & enjoyed the ceviche. The only thing that let it down was that there was an error with my order. I wanted a single 1 person cevice, and the waiter put in a 2 person trio of cevice. When the food came out, we said that we didn’t order it. There was a little commotion with staff, and the waiter came over to ask us to have the dish anyway, but it was quite different in price and contained elements I didn’t want. He was quite insistent as it was already made, and we said we would take it if we had to but didn’t want to pay for a dish for two when we didn’t order it and it wasn’t meant for sharing. He then said he would give us some money back when we paid, which he did, but the whole interaction was very strange and a bit awkward.

I’m from Chile and of Spanish descent, and as someone who is very picky about pisco sour, ceviche and spanish tortilla, it’s incredible to say that I can truly recommend this place. This is the closest thing to the real deal I’ve had in Southeast Asia! The experience was amazing—thank you for creating a space that genuinely cares about serving authentic food and staying 100% true to its original spirit.

I like Pisco Bar but I have a mixed feeling about it.
When I first arrived there were no staff to help you with seating. (I went there twice, and it was the same) on the first visit, I have to somehow walked to the person that look like a staff to ask. The second time, I wanted to wait for my friend in front of the gate, however there was one guy tried to following me since I walked on the street and trying to approach me. I was very uncomfortable, but there was also no staff in front of the bar. So I decided to just walk quickly upstairs. I want to thanks one staff (i forget to ask his name) who take care upstairs on last Friday. I informed the staff about the situation and he made sure that that guy wouldn’t come up stairs.
Besides that, all was good! Pisco sour and ceciche were very good. It more of a place where you can go with friends. Solo traveler might feel a bit odd here

Didn’t feel it’s as authentic as Vermuth Next door.
Feels like a local bar that’s just named pisco and just trys to put live up to the south American name, as I’ve been to Chile & even experienced more authentic outlets in Asia named Pisco.
But would still give a good rating on

I had an extremely unpleasant experience due to the aggressive and hostile behavior of our waiter. Instead of providing polite service, he repeatedly pressured us to order drinks we didn’t want, insisting it was mandatory when it clearly wasn’t. His tone was confrontational, and he made us feel uncomfortable by implying we *had* to comply with his demands.
Good service should never involve intimidation or false requirements. This waiter’s attitude ruined what should have been a nice experience.Management should address this issue—no customer should be bullied into ordering things they don’t want
