I brought my cat here for castration and I couldn’t be happier with the care he received. The staff handled him so gently and made the whole process stress-free, both for my cat and for me. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated, and treated my fur baby with so much love. Recovery went smoothly and I can tell he was in good hands. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants the best care for their pets!

Went on a Sunday at 11 a.m. Full house and waiting time around 1 hour. They have ample seating and 3 consultation rooms. Friendly vet and staff. Relatively cheap price. I got an antibiotic eye drop for RM15 and total for visit is RM20. Overall very good clinic

Brought my cat for a check-up after she sadly lost her kitten. The check-up went smoothly and the waiting time wasn’t too long. The staff were very friendly and gentle with my cat, which made the whole experience less stressful. The price was also affordable, which I really appreciate. After visiting many vets within Klang Valley, I found this to be one of the best for cats. Although the receptionist seemed a bit unfriendly at first, she was actually very helpful. The clinic is clean and tidy—you’re required to take off your shoes before entering. I also spotted a cute in-house cat, which added to the warm atmosphere. Dr. Lisa is an excellent doctor. She explained issues we didn’t even know about and was very patient throughout the process. It’s great to see such a caring and professional doctor.

The service is great. Receptionist is polite and kind, always happy to help the customers and patients. The doctors are very helpful and gentle towards the pets, I feel comfortable going to this place. They do vaccinations, deworming, and neuter, among other things. The place is really kept clean and has a welcoming environment. Would be my go-to clinic for my pet. Picture is not my cat but I think it’s the clinics cat.

This was my first time there. I was impressed by the doctor’s advice regarding my car’s illness and the vaccine.

It’s a shame that on our second visit, the vaccine we had an appointment for was out of stock. We didn’t know beforehand, so we had to go home and come back again next week. I recommend calling to check before you go.

This place started off as great place where they were able to cure my pet dog of his ear infection but as time progressed when my pet dog was boarded there, my groomer found him infested with cat fleas ( very strange) and the 2nd time with rashes and when I highlighted this I was met with disdain from his doctor instead of accepting my honest feedback. Above all I find Dr.Lee herself extremely pompous, rude and clearly very partial to certain patients. And most recently they were unable to help my pet despite several visits cost and time incurred. The dispensary and reception staff are very helpful and good natured.

Dr Teoh is very kind and always explain thoroughly. Sometimes he is kind enough to use laymen terms so we undeestand our cat’s condition better. I stop visiting here since I am no longer live there. But, I do casually visit there to bring my parents cat 🙂

My 1st time to this vet , usually my cat are grumpy little creature whe meeting with any vet dr’ i told them and they close all the door and she left me and Dr Teoh which is around 70 + of age.. surprisingly so cool and no sound at all , and dr just easily put the jap on him and that it . Really surprised me and for sure i ll come again if any service that i need.

I came here with high hopes, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. I had been patiently queuing for registration for their event today, yet the staff (an older woman at the front) completely ignored me and chose to address everyone behind me instead. I wasn’t even asked why I was there. It felt very dismissive and unprofessional. I understand clinics can be busy, but basic courtesy and fairness really go a long way. I hope they improve their system and train staff to treat all pet owners equally.

I recently visited this clinic, and despite its location being a bit far from the city center with traffic, I was truly impressed by the overall experience. Three of my cats are regular patients at this vet, and their service has always been excellent. Recently, one of my cats had a dental issue, and Dr. Yoko performed the surgery — under anesthesia, she cleaned and removed five teeth. The procedure went smoothly, and my cat recovered very well. She’s now healthy, active, and eating a lot.

Special thanks also to Dr. Li Kai, who has consulted for all of my cats. He is always attentive, detailed, and patient in explaining everything clearly. The other doctors here are also wonderful — I’m sorry I can’t remember all their names, but they are very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Our second time to this vet. I can’t thank you enough to Dr. Kai and the care he provided for our hamster, Oreo. From the moment we walked into vet, it was clear how gentle, patient, and mindful Dr. Kai is—especially with small animals like hamsters, who require extra care and attention.

This pet animal clinic provides consultation to Guinea Pig also. I like to bring my Guinea pig here whenever he’s sick. Dr Kai is a friendly, patient & caring Vet besides exhibiting his professionalism & expertise in treating animal. He checks on my pet meticulously and provides very good advice on taking care of the Guinea pig’s diet.
Therefore, I strongly recommend this vet clinic to pet owners.

Even though I was quite late for my reservation (i feel bad as it was near closing hours), the female doctor was still very passionate in answering my doubts about my 1 month old rescue kitten. Extremely grateful for taking the time to give advice and info genuinely.

I am extremely disappointed with poor treatment of my 7-months old cat received at Petcare on 3 Sep 2025. I had asked my aunty to bring her in as she was very weak and had not eaten for 3 days. Despite her condition, no drip was given to stabilize her. The doctor (a lady with short hair) only mentioned she had flam, gave a nebuliser, and prescribed pills—which was clearly unsuitable. By evening, my cat had passed away without proper medical care. This negligence has left me heartbroken, and I will never return to Petcare.

What’s the point of having an appointment based system when you don’t fulfill it to begin with?

8/10 times I set my appointment, and I’m only seen 20-40 mins later.

Why it is ok for them to be late and not fulfill your appointment timings, but if god forbid I’m late by 15 minutes, too bad so sad, book another appointment loser.

While I can understand being understaffed, if you double book customers then it’s really not the customer’s fault now is it?

I set the appointment with you, based on YOUR schedule. I come in 5-10 minutes early even, and yet here I am waiting and waiting because you dont have enough staff.

This has happened too many times to the point where I am genuinely disappointed and will never return again.

(PS, their power went out today and they dont have backup power, god forbid your pet is going through surgery or is plugged into a machine and the power goes out, good luck and godspeed)

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Darling for the exceptional care provided to Sidek during his recent urinary and bladder stone condition. Sidek arrived at PetCare Melawati as an emergency case without an appointment, as he was unable to urinate. Dr. Darling acted swiftly, conducting a thorough examination and providing urgent treatment, including surgery. Thanks to her prompt and professional care, Sidek was able to recover well and was discharged after a few days of admission. I am truly impressed with the outstanding service at PetCare Melawati — Dr. Darling and the entire team are compassionate, dedicated, and simply the best.

Used to send our dog here regularly, however, our dog was convulsing and the vet and front desk told us all vets were out for lunch and to leave our dog in the clinic until the vets returned from lunch break at 1430hrs.

Why would an appointment be needed in emergency cases? Emergencies are unexpected. I assume all clinics have triage procedures.

This clinic is not equipped for emergencies.

The nurses and doctors at this clinic are very patient and caring. They responded to all my WhatsApp inquiries patiently. Dr. Kiew is highly skilled and professional! Although I was initially told that the surgery slots were full, they still took in my dog for surgery. The doctor explained everything patiently and thoroughly, took great care of my dog, and even sent me videos. After the surgery, they also shared many tips on how to care for my dog. On June 23, 2024, my beloved cat Luna faced a near-tragic incident when she plummeted from the 5th floor, resulting in a fracture and dislocated hip. In the beginning, I had a nightmare experience at a 24-hour hospital, where I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about Luna’s care. After an agonizing wait, I decided to seek a second opinion from Pet First—and that decision changed everything.

From the very first emergency visit to the surgery and recovery, Dr. Kiew at Pet First provided exceptional care and attention. After Luna’s initial diagnosis, I was advised that surgery was crucial to avoid more serious consequences. Throughout this emotionally taxing time, Dr. Kiew and his team displayed incredible patience and professionalism. Luna’s surgery was scheduled after a few days of hospitalization, during which Dr. Kiew was attentive to her needs, ensuring her comfort and well-being.

During Luna’s hospitalization, the staff was incredibly caring. I brought a pillow and mini radio to help Luna relax, playing calming meditation at a very soft volume every day, and the staff kindly ensured that this was done daily. They also patiently fed Luna until she was able to eat by herself, demonstrating genuine compassion for her well-being.

What particularly touched me was the generosity shown when Luna’s stay was extended for 3 additional days, at no additional cost. I was also pleased that there were no hidden charges—what they quoted was exactly what I paid, which provided peace of mind during an already stressful time.

I wish to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the entire team for the care and love bestowed upon Luna. The compassion and professionalism exhibited by each member of Pet First have been nothing short of remarkable.

Today, Luna is healing well and has even started jumping and playing around, thanks to Dr. Kiew’s expertise and compassionate approach. While her leg isn’t 100% perfect, knowing she is healthy is more than enough for me. I truly appreciate Dr. Kiew’s efforts and highly recommend him as the best orthopaedic specialist for fur babies.

I came solely for Dr. Lim Yee Ning, and she did not disappoint. She is an incredibly dedicated, detailed, and patient vet. My dog, Baby Bagel, has been sick monthly since we adopted her at six months old. We sent her to various clinics for blood tests, blood cultures, urine cultures, and even surgery, but no cause could be found. By chance, I met a knowledgeable vet nurse who introduced me to Dr. Lim, who is more experienced with neurological issues and treatments.

Though the treatment is ongoing, I’ve never encountered a doctor who gives so much time, love, and care to her patients. Dr. Lim has been following up at least twice daily on Bagel’s condition since starting the medication, which speaks volumes about her commitment.

However, the reception staff/frontline can be quite unfriendly and rude—I’m unsure if it’s a cultural or language barrier—but that’s the impression I personally got from the front desk staff, especially the one collecting payments. I assume she’s more senior, which might explain the attitude.

Overall, the clinic is efficient and well-run. It can get quite crowded, but while waiting for my turn, I met all sorts of animals, from huskies and corgis to cats, which was a nice touch.

Last year, early 2022, oyen fell from 4th floor (our apartment). The condition is like the first picture..because of its weight, the impact cost both of its hind leg.

Went to first vet, no slot available for surgery, and oyen condition was getting worse..move it to 24hrs animal hospital where he stayed for a week…then a vet there recommend to take oyen to Dr.Kiew..

Dr Kiew have been kind enough to help us, and promise us to try to keep both legs..oyen even stayed with them for months last year…and finally back home end of 2022..

Now oyen is healthy again, with both his hind leg intact!

Had multiple pelvic fractures and Dr Kiew managed to fix it for my cat. 2 months post op, he’s able to walk and jump as normal again. Dr Kiew is definitely the skilled orthopaedic to go for who can fix the small animal fractures especially like cat (though he may seem a bit cold but he’s the best shot you can have in fixing your pet fractures). I would say the staffs here genuinely care for pets and are able to take care of your pet well during the hospital stays. Highly recommend for pet fractures.
