I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Galeri Animal Malaysia, and it was one of the most fulfilling experiences I’ve ever had. The environment is clean, well-organized, and run with genuine heart. I left each day feeling inspired and motivated, knowing I had made a small difference.

I learned during the visit here for my volunteering subject and the staff is so nice and outgoing. They teach everything from basic so we could do the chores calmly.

I had a fantastic time at this volunteering center! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the whole experience was well-organized. I got my little akio from Pets Avenue back in July 2023. Before that I know NOTHING about chinchilla, I was browsing little Rednote and saw these adorable pets from China. So I simply do searching in KL area and found Pets Avenue. In 15th July 2023, I make a trip down to Pets Avenue. I still remembered seeing lots of visitors in the shop, the environment is clean and lots of chinchillas to choose. William is very helpful and well explained how to take good care of chinchillas. Honestly, I never thought chinchillas would be so pricey and i need time to do more research. So I asked William whether I could place a deposit and then the balance in 1 week time and he said YES! Last year, i sent my chinchilla boarding at Pets Avenue, William is so responsible to update me with videos ad photos. He is so wonderful and if anyone who said not to buy from Pets Avenue that is totally WRONG! If you are looking for a chin please go Pets Avenue, 10/10 recommended!

I purchased my first chinchilla from this store, and the experience was wonderful! The owner is incredibly kind and always takes the time to patiently answer any questions. The prices for chinchilla supplies are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Went to check on Chinchilla yesterday with my kids as they plan to get one. Very attentive and polite shop owner, explained patiently and clearly how to take care of them. We definitely come back for 1, need to plan properly , it’s a big commitment to keep this cutie pie chinchilla . good to find a knowledgable shop.shop is clean too.

Good starter for anyone who want to try to volunteer in shelters.. The team is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They also teach how to samak (for Muslim).

Giving abandoned animals a second chance at happiness is a truly noble cause. The dedicated staff provide exceptional care and compassion to every animal in need. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment. It’s heartwarming to see the positive impact this charity has on the lives of so many animals. Supporting this organization is a wonderful way to make a difference in the community.

SPCA is by far the best animal shelter I’ve ever been to. The staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to the animals. The manager is extraordinary kind, helpful, and clearly sets the tone for the whole team.

Unlike other shelters I’ve visited, where staff sometimes seem disconnected, SPCA’s team builds real bonds with the animals. When a cat or dog is adopted, you can see both joy and sadness in their eyes, because they truly care.

I adopted a cat from them, Rue, and they had detailed information about her personality. That showed me they actually spend time with the animals and interact with them, not just feed them and keep them in cages.

If you want your support to go somewhere meaningful, I can recommend SPCA 100%. They really are making a difference.

My heroes! Extraordinary work carried out with kindness, dedication and love to look after stray dogs and cats. Please volunteer. All costs go towards their neutering program and then you can walk dogs and look after cats any time of the week. They also support an amazing education program and a fantastic opportunity for any school running The International Award / Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

Wonderful and professional staff members. Also advised me on how to handle the wild behavior of my kitten Nini. Nini kitten had 3 vaccines (series) and spaying which healed very well.

They kept their places clean and make sure the pets are well taken care of, friendly and approachable
They also have different campaigns for neutering and spaying the strays, do check out their instagram or social media to understand better

Snowwy & Spidey regular customer here . Tempat selalu hantar boarding semenjak kucing2 dari kecik. (Almost 10 years ). Harga berpatutan compare tempat lain. Mostly apa my cats nak, ada kat sini. Owner/Staff kedai pun friendly.

I think they had very limited options and their food is extremely expensive.

Nice salesman! We’re not local so I am not sure if the price is good in Malaysian standards. Compared to North America, I’ll say their prices are okay. No big wow. Small shop. No live animals although we wonder if there’s a cat in the store cause we did hear meows.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with My Forever Doggo — it’s a truly meaningful platform that has helped me with a few of my rescues. I first heard about them 3–4 years ago through some rescuer friends, and since then, I’ve seen how tirelessly and patiently they support independent rescuers. Their efforts in bridging the gap between the public and rescuers are truly commendable. I’m extremely grateful for the work they do and sincerely hope more stories of independent rescuers will be shared and receive the attention and support they deserve — including donations and resources. Thank you for making a difference!

It is so grateful to see the work MFD do to raise awareness about animal welfare, particularly for stray animals. Their platform is an invaluable resource for both education and advocacy. It’s clear that their team is deeply committed to improving the lives of animals in need.

They effectively highlight the challenges faced by strays and encourage positive action, whether it’s adoption, fostering, or supporting local shelters. I always feel touch reading the story they shared on kindness to the strays by incredible human out there.

Discovered this platform through social media for their apparent focus on helping stray dogs. However jI’ve been deeply disappointed by their selective approach to sharing rescue stories, particularly their bias against lesser-known independent rescuers/ independent reacuers who genuinely need support and lack resources.

Here’s my experience with this platform:

We’ve faced consistent dismissal when requesting help to post/ share our stories. Typically receive automated messages, extremely delayed replies, or complete silence. Meanwhile, some groups of well-established/ rescuers consistently appear in their featured content.

This selective treatment raises serious questions about the platform’s stated mission. If you’re truly “focusing on helping stray dogs,” shouldn’t all rescued animals deserve visibility regardless of who saved them? What about the countless strays rescued by lesser-known individuals without large followings? Don’t these animals deserve the same opportunity for adoption?

Thank you for reading my concerns. It’s profoundly discouraging to be ignored when our shared goal is helping vulnerable animals

My Forever Doggo is a true blessing for animals in need. It’s comforting to know there are people so selflessly dedicated to giving animals a second chance. Their work reminds us of the power of kindness and the importance of speaking up for those who can’t.

I hope My forever doggo shares and helps lesser knows independent rescuers too, not just widely known ones. I personally think small or not famously knows independent rescuers deserves it more than known ones. That being said, MFD is going a good job as a sharing and raising awareness in platforms like IG.

I’ve been following MFD since their early days and it’s amazing what they’ve been doing so and still so earnestly do. I remember rescuing a little lost doggo and asked if they would help to share the word around. And share they did, in fact even followed up if little doggo found a home. The world just needs more kind people, that’s all. Thank-you for doing what you do MFD.

I’ve been following MFD for more than 3 years and that’s also where I found and adopted my furbaby. My experience with MFD has been nothing but great. They try to help as much as they can within their limited capacity, which I truly appreciate. Thank you for raising awareness to help make this world a better place for the doggos out there!

Easy parking but place is a bit outdated. They require physical printout of e-dog forms and will not accept digital documents or print them for you even if you pay. If you do manual application they also want physical paper bills and not digital bills. If you’re caught out, the nearby Fraser Business Park has shops that can help you print

Can ask for assistance if unable to renew dog license

Is not easy to find this place but when you see a place with huge white canopies with lots of cars then you are in the right place. Go in the compound and the location of the DBKL Dog License Place is inside.

The entrance is INSIDE the Emasik Car Dealer.
