Best escape rooms in Kuala Lumpur: find options near you

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. Great experience for my children and I. Plenty of activities for everyone and spacious enough for people to rest. The Ninja challenge is applicable to children under 13 If tagged along with an adult. (Not sure if there’s a minimum age).
The equipment/obstacles are well maintained. The route is clean considering the amount of people. The workers are patient and helpful.

You can purchase tickets online depending on availability. For weekends, I recommend booking in advance to be safe. However, the overall experience did not quite meet my expectations compared to how it appeared online. The park seemed larger and more exciting online, but in reality, it felt more like a regular indoor park with limited activities.

Another point I find confusing is the pricing. The ticket is shown as RM42, but socks (RM7) and gloves (RM5) are compulsory, which makes the actual total RM54. Since they are required, I think it would be clearer and more transparent to combine everything into one price.

Thus, some activities such as the laser room were closed on weekdays, which limited my overall experience. For RM54 per person, I feel it would be more worthwhile if there were more accessible and engaging options throughout the week, including adult-friendly games like the laser room (more laser rooms maybe) escape room, haunted house or similar fun activities.

1- alot of stuff to do for kids and adults. Play area, ninja track, jumping, video games, karaoke, football, softball, cafe etc.
2- true value for money.
3- nice location
4- great staff
5- very tidy bathrooms and special for kids.
6- coupled with the game arena.
Cons:
1- cafe menu is limited
2- even the vending machine does not take cash.

been here before with my friends. now is my second time here with my daughter. love this place ! it is very clean and spacious. remember to get the grip socks and gloves ( if needed) here.

recommendation: to have places to sit for kids/ tired adults while waiting in the long queue

Not bad.. Sekali bayar main sampai pengsan. Seisi keluarga boleh enjoy ada port yg bersesuaian ikut golongan umur. Bebas kuar masuk slagi pkai tag. Ada loker utk brg peribadi. Pasti kn beli siap2 stokin anti slip k. Staff semua memang bagus lah dorang akn guide korang smpai berjaya unless korang dh give up tak leh buat apa lah especially staff yg kat Ninja Climbing wall tu. Happening & friendly. Staff kat lain2 zon pun sgt bgus dorang layan.

Value for money. Super big and spacious, made up of a few challenges. The ninja challenge is the highest and biggest of all, about three stories high, with many passages and obstacles.

Others include spiral slides, trampolines, and bubble football. There are game rooms with wii. One small section for babies only (not worth it for toddlers). Gloves and socks are sold at reasonable price. There are also lockers inside to store your belongings.

The escape room was super fun! We actually ended up playing two games — The Judge and Patient 13 — because we were too frustrated that we couldn’t finish the first one . The Judge looked simple at first, but needed a lot of thinking (and some of the clues were so unexpected ). Patient 13 was another level too we laughed way too hard at one point even the staff helping us laughing at our way of doing things. It wasn’t that scary, but still my friend somehow dragged the bed with her . Honestly, it was sooo much fun! Definitely worth trying!

Went last weekend and it was the best! For Versus; Lots of fun activities and games, each one guided by an instructor. Ours was Afiqah—she’s super nice, helpful, thoughtful, and very sporting, which really made the whole experience enjoyable.

We played for 2 hours and still had plenty more games left to try. Definitely worth coming again!

Also tried the escape room games—The Judge & Haha Circus. No spoilers here, you just have to experience it yourself! The games weren’t only about thinking but also being aware of your surroundings to spot clues within the given time.

Suggestion: It would be great if chairs could be placed nearby for people to sit while taking off or putting on stockings and shoes.

I spent one hour here and I’m very happy to assist by Marshall Afiqa . Most of the games were fun . It brings us to the old school memory without the IT application. Hahahaa fun fact ,it was my break up date with my future ex partner . It was a good end for 9 years of relationship. Thank you to Party Box .

The overall experience was good, but i wouldn’t repeat it.
The staff were not friendly. Somewhat hostile.
Whenever we requested to slightly steer away from the given instructions, it was rejected. (Merely skipping certain games for example)
The sumo suits smelled very bad.
The lockers room had no chairs to sit to take off or wear your shoes. Had to sit on the floor.
While i enjoyed my time, one time was more than enough.

We took the 1hr session for the VS Hall and already we managed to cover a lot of games. Super fun and Dave was very friendly, helpful and definitely made the game fun for me and my friend. We’re introverted but he definitely made us feel comfortable and eventually enjoy the game! Thanks a lot Dave. Will definitely come again 😀

The game was super fun! There were plenty of activities, and it’s suitable for both adults and kids. Highly recommended for everyone to visit. And thank you once again to our game assistant, Elisa. I’ll definitely come again!

We had a fantastic birthday party at Bomb Battle. The team was very helpful and did a great job. The game activities were super fun, and the kids loved them—especially the interactive games.

We actually went twice, once for Sea of Chaos and another for VS Arena. Both were super fun, though the games were either really easy or really confusing.. Today we were with Irina and Sham. From their request of a favourite, we choose neither (they were both really helpful and we enjoyed doing the tasks with them)

Peak day like weekend/public holidays price about RM99/pax when I go there. RM89 weekday. It’s great to play with 5 or more than 5 person coz you guys can easily manage hit the game to collect points.

– Game dia ada dua fasa:
Phase 1 – Untuk kumpul point. Takkan basah. Just teamwork main². Ada 4 games. 1 game masa diberikan 15mins. Like maze, once dah cukup 15 minit, next pintu akan bukak. Sebab nak collect points kan so ada part macam lah tak habis lagi ke like lama lah 15minit tu jadi cam lambat lagi ka nak habis hahaha. Game game dia —- 1(game connecting the grid), 2(laser tap tap dinding color serentak, 3(keynote), 4(sequence nombor). Kumpul lah points waktu games² ni sebab dia akan jadikan masa lama utk phase 2.
Phase 2 – waktu ni dia ada last game but no worries, crew dia akan tolong. Part sini hujung tu dia akan single blast water based paint tu. Sekali lagi klu pakai cerah nak jenjalan lepas tu, sila pikir panjang hahaha sebab memang tembus even sikit.

Overall review kalau my pov la, ini bukan jiwa aku hahaha but untuk fun² main dengan kawan sekali nak cuba tu bolehlah nak ambik experience. Memang teamwork jugak. 4 game ni yg okay sonok enjoy adalah game sequence numbers dengan connecting grid rasa meriah kejap. Yg lain cam hmmm

It’s just oka-yyyyyyyy lah. I wouldn’t say it’s the scariest nor is the acting particularly fantastic but all in all pretty good fun to try with friends. Try to go in a group size of 4-6 people (and share the cost of a private session) because 10 is way too large. The decision points aren’t exactly very obvious but I think you’ve got to try to be evil to get the best outcome.

Initially, we thought it is an escape room game but after experiencing the whole thing, it feels more like a real life game book.

During the storytelling, we have to make decisions that will change the ending of the story. As we are the ‘actors’ in the story, the whole experience is very immersive, fun and panicky, following the ups, downs of the storyline.

Overall, it is a good experience and would like to try other stories or even try out the same story and try to get a different ending.

Great experience and truly nerve wrackinggg, kept our team on the edge of our figurative seats. Shoutout to Iskandar and all the other actors for nailing their role. Totally and undoubtedly worth the RM65 ticket price.

It was an amazing experience! The staff were all very dedicated and professional. I’m glad that we had the chance to trigger the hidden ending in the tourist!—it was such a surprise! The moral of the story: don’t be greedy. This is my fourth time here, and I’ll definitely be back for the next episode

An absolutely fantastic and unique experience. As someone who loves immersion and escape rooms, I’ve found that it’s often hard to find something that’s both challenging and creative. This manages to be both. It’s an immersive haunted house and you’re led through the floors by actors who are part of the story. Your decisions affect what moves the actors make next. All the while, the environment comes to life with hauntings that are legitimately frightening. This is one of the coolest things I’ve done in Kuala Lumpur and I hope it expands out soon.

We played the Tourist storyline. Overall the experience was very immersing and the storyline was planned out very well. The actors were helpful yet stayed in character the whole time. Would do it again for the secret ending!

My first experience here was so fun! I went with my friends to the Harvest room (requires a lot of strength they weren’t joking about those 5 stars). I think the puzzles were challenging enough—don’t skip a step!!! If you think you know what answers are being shown, no you don’t. Do it properly The staff were so helpful and friendly, definitely recommend!!!

We had such a fun and thrilling experience solving the Knock Knock Who’s There slot game in Mission Q! The puzzles were exciting and kept us fully engaged from start to finish. It was such a great mix of challenge and entertainment, and we enjoyed every moment of figuring things out together.

The staff, Mel and Elisha as well as Ken, were also incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to guide us when we needed a little nudge without giving too much away. Their support really added to the overall experience and made the whole game even more enjoyable.

Definitely a memorable adventure—we can’t wait to come back and try more missions!

My experience was really fun.This is not my first time but I had the same amount of fun as the first time.The room we tried was really fun.Shoutout to the gamemaster Dan and Bal they were really patience with us and helped us a lot when we needed it.

The puzzles were creative and layered. Some were straightforward, while others required teamwork and real outside-the-box thinking.

The staff Mel, Dan and Llury were friendly and gave just the right amount of hints when we were stuck without spoiling the fun.

Amazing experience, very challenging and intense. We completed the puzzle under 42minutes. Mel and Irfan was being very sporting

Had a team-bonding session here with colleagues and it was super fun! Each room does have different limits on number of pax so do check and reserve beforehand.

The clues in the rooms are in dual-language (English and Mandarin) so dont worry if you dont know Mandarin, deciphering the clues wouldn’t be an issue. However, we found that when communicating with the staff during the escape room session, speaking in Mandarin allowed for better transfer of information as the staff may be able to explain better.

The room themselves were nicely designed, I went for the Dancing Room. There were a couple jumpscares and the vibe was indeed pretty creepy, but it really added to the fun of solving the mystery.

Each room takes about an hour or so to complete.

Parking is a challenge, we managed to fit around 6 cars within the vicinity of Maze but the others had to park outside.

Definitely worth a try for those who enjoy escape rooms!

Tried the Ghost coffin topic! Horror but it was a super great experience. (I scared of horror, but I still go for experience, once enough for me) Like most of the reviews I read, NPC really done their good job, deeply salute to them and thank you for making such a good game

I had a great time at MAZE Escape Room! The NPCs were really fun and engaging, which made the experience feel much more immersive. The environment is well-designed and detailed, creating the perfect atmosphere for solving puzzles and enjoying the challenge. Definitely one of the better escape rooms I’ve tried – highly recommended!

Our first time trying an Escape Room activity for our team outing. There were variety of themed room for us to choose from, and each offers it’s own story.

You may choose the rooms according to the theme and difficulty that suits you most. Few of the puzzles were abit challenging for us to figure out, however it motivates for us to think and work as a team.

The game master and staffs were extremely helpful from the beginning until the end. I would say we had a great team bonding session with this activity.

Would highly recomend for those who love solving puzzles and looking for mentally challenging activities.

Would certainly come again to try other rooms!

Games were really really fun and the game master Salina was really attentive and helpful !! Materia medica and perpetual were the 2 games we played that did not have any NPC or jumpscare. Definitely would recommend

Very fun and interactive! Staff Zuhar and Nurin were friendly and clear about explaining how the game works. Worthwhile for those who are afraid of jump scares as this was quite mild and fun.

Had an absolute blast at Breakout! This place definitely earns a solid 4 stars from me and here’s why.
From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, setting a great tone for our adventure. We tried the “Hocus Pocus” room, and the immersion was top-notch. The decor and props were incredibly detailed, really pulling us into the story. It wasn’t just a room with locks; it felt like we were truly in a different world.
The puzzles themselves were clever and challenging, striking a great balance between being solvable and requiring genuine teamwork and out-of-the-box thinking. We loved how diverse the puzzles were – a good mix of logic, observation, and even some physical elements. There were a few “aha!” moments that felt incredibly satisfying. Our gamemaster was also fantastic, providing just the right amount of hints when we were truly stuck, without giving everything away.
The only reason it’s not a perfect 5 stars is that one or two of the puzzles felt a tiny bit less intuitive than the others, leading to a moment or two of slight frustration where we felt we were guessing rather than logically deducing. However, this was a minor blip in an otherwise excellent experience.
Overall, Breakout offers a fantastic escape room experience that’s perfect for friends, families, or even a team-building exercise. We emerged feeling exhilarated and already planning our next visit to try another one of their rooms. Highly recommend!

Had such a fun time at the escape room! The puzzles were really challenging (some even made my head spin ), but that’s what made it so exciting. Honestly, I don’t know how some people can finish it so fast ahaha. It was even more enjoyable with friends, we laughed so much while trying to solve everything together. Definitely a great spot for team bonding and creating fun memories.

It was easy to book our activity online, and we had fun overall. The room was clean, the setup was good.
However, we found the quest way too simple. It was quite short too.
We are no experts and usually never escape.
All the clues here are numbered in their sequence order, which makes the whole thing way too easy in our opinion.

If you are an adventurous person, this place is for u guys! Friendly staff, nice environment, challenging games .

This is the best escape room I have ever been to. The puzzles were not too hard not too easy. They story was good. Most importantly, we were late but the staff were nice enough to let us play the whole time and extra 5 minutes because we were almost at the end. Will definitely visit again.

The puzzles are interesting, story is well thought out. One of the best given the very clear and precise instructions, which is rare in most escape games. Our game master. Mr Zakuan is really thorough, friendly and patient in explaining to us on every little detail in the game.

Overall a really enjoyable experience!

I did Framed and Forsaken room. Only 1 star because they provide locker to keep our stuff, but even the locker didnt open the first time because it was the wrong key. Poor room design, poor presentation. We pressed help button 5 times but worker still did not come. Maybe a lack of staff problem. Worst part was the final room when it turns out the puzzle was broken, meaning it was impossible for us to leave the room at all. We were very disappointed that this issue wasnt fixed before our game and its clear the staff dont check the rooms before each session. Time very short as most escape rooms are 1 hour. Underwhelming experience and will NOT visit again.

First thing first, they act change their name but nvr update it. We had to walk all over to find it and ended up calling them to find where it is. 2nd of all don’t get ur hopes high. We pick the shangri-la escape room and accommodate w 45mins to settle all. We stucked for 33mins because of the staff mistake which they put the wrong padlock on the wrong box, and we only realized it when we called them for our first hint. This was clearly their mistake but they didn’t apologize neither offer us extra time or anything. You got 2 hints only and the difficulty of the puzzle doesn’t really follow the difficulty of the room. We paid RM45 per person for it and it doesn’t even meet one of our expectations at all. This morning I checked Google reviews and turns out there’s a lot of negative comments. Our mistake was not checking the reviews before playing. And no recordings allowed so I don’t have footage for y’all.

Overall, the front counter experience was pleasant—staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in the gameplay experience.

One thing that stood out compared to other escape room brands is the lack of clear puzzle sequencing. At times, it was confusing to know where to begin or which clues were related to which puzzles. Adding subtle indicators or a logical progression would really enhance the flow and make the experience more enjoyable.

The game marshals could also be more engaging. For a place centered around fun and excitement, having staff who seem unenthusiastic takes away from the overall vibe. In both rooms we tried, the experience felt a bit cold. At the end of the game, rather than concluding or debriefing us, the marshal immediately began resetting the room, leaving us standing there unsure if the game had officially ended. This was quite a contrast to other escape room brands, where a proper wrap-up and explanation are usually part of the fun.

That said, the puzzles themselves were well-designed and enjoyable. With a few tweaks in customer interaction and puzzle guidance, this place could offer an even better experience.

its better you closed down the company, worst experience + staff attitude… me and my family want too enjoy the escape room for the first time and ask them how the escape room works, but the staff scold us and leave… stupid! luckily im in a good mood, if not, confirm one of the stuff will be drag out!

Very friendly staff. Explain to us beginners as to how the game works. The hint given was helpful enough. Manage to get our photos on the wall. Had a very fun time. Will try again next time on another theme.
