I arrived at 5:30am because I needed to renew my passport. The security guard told me it was too early. At 7:25am, the gate opened and people started running to the building, ignoring the queue process. It was very convenient to apply and receive, but the queue waiting method needs to be improved.
Worst immigration department you can ever visit to have your immigration / jpn related documents done. 38 counters are there And only 7 counters are opened which 1 of them is for information queries with long queue and the rest all are unattended. Slow progress and ask you for appointment and sometimes appointments is after 6 months Parking is always full and you have to spin a lot and sock sweat upon arriving to office. Small work may take months and lack of staff information, knowledge and attendance. Hundreds of people are there waiting with babies and elderly women as if you need a token to enter heaven. Really horrible facility and time waster.
Worst gov office, on the phone different info, at the counter different info, different counter also different information. Waited 2 months for an appointment only to be told told I have to come back, bcaz they added more documents thats not on the checklist to begin with. I had to fight for my rights to be heard. Only to get " idk u have to come back later with no further explanation" finally got everything and submitted the same day and told results wil be out in 25 days, everytime we cal told to call next week its been 2 months. I doubt you dont have enough staff ur lazy and rude. Yesterday I called again from 9.30 am till 4.45pm not once they pick the call. How long the Malaysian citizen have to deal with rude and inefficient service. Sick of this. The very least u can do is to be consistent with the information you give. And if the appointment takes 2 months dont ask for ridiculous additional documents, if the checklist has been completed. Frustrating to deal with.
Why they show it’s closed in Sat when I just done renewing mine here on today (Sat)? Very friendly and helpful staffs here. Got our numbers ( me n my kids) at 840am and by 1020am we are out with our new passports. Less crowd and efficient from the team here. Much better than UTC which have to wake up at 6am to use the QMS app to get number which were all taken within minutes. So come here to do your passport on Sat, guys…
Quick service , a lot improved from previous experience. Very efficient team. Managed to get my passport done within 1 hour Appreciate we have such a good & efficient immigration department
I am regular here for the past 8 years for visa matters. The officers here are nice and helpful all the while. The latest update as in September 2024 are the lighting at each counter are more brighter, no more closing during lunch hour, no more temporary number give away counter located at the lift area, more Sarjan rank officers based at the counters with 2 officers with 3 stars rank supervise the counter operations. But the speed of delivery was slower than in 2023 & earlier years even it was by appointment with restricted acceptance of numbers of daily visitors, the washroom always having water broke down issue since 8 years ago until now, and the most shocked update was there is no longer visa sticker to stick on your passport page, only a normal A4 size printer paper in colour stapled on your passport page, I am really curious that who & why implement this? and back to the history, how long can this normal A4 paper be last with stapled on the passport page? please don’t make us embarrass when face the immigration in other countries during arrival to their countries, they will also be curious and laugh at Malaysia Immigration
Surau yang selesa. Parking mencukupi. Perkhidmatan yang pantas. O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. Al-Baqarah: 153
