I traveled to Malaysia just to attend the Sourdough Class at Baker Experience Academy, and it was absolutely worth it! The class was very hands-on, and I learned so many practical tips. A big shoutout to Teacher Yennie, an excellent baker who explained everything clearly and made the experience enjoyable. I left with confidence to bake at home—and a delicious loaf I made myself. I really enjoyed the sourdough baking class! The instructor explained everything clearly, from caring for the starter to shaping and baking the bread. I loved how hands-on it was—I got to practice each step and finally understand what makes sourdough unique. The class was beginner-friendly but also shared tips that even experienced bakers can use. I left with not only a beautiful loaf but also the confidence to continue baking at home. Highly recommend for anyone curious about sourdough!

I took this course yesterday and I can only describe it as FANTASTIC. The teacher explains everything step by step, very thorough and structured. She will share all her knowledge, experience, tips and tricks to make sure you do not go home with any questions.
The day is long but you are always on your toes making bread, crackers, focaccia and scone. Despite taking home lots of baked goodies the family loved it so much it was finished all on the same day. The results were amazing and I can confidently say this course is worth every penny, I would highly recommend it to anybody who has an interest in bread making.

Le Petit Chef offers a truly unique and memorable dining experience. The entertainment factor is incredibly high, with a charming little chef projecting onto your table and creating miniature culinary masterpieces. The presentation is a major draw, and the overall atmosphere is designed to be playful and delightful, making it an excellent choice for a special occasion or something different. The food quality is good, but not exceptional.

While the food itself might not reach the heights of a traditional fine dining establishment, the overall show makes it worthwhile. The service is attentive and friendly, contributing to the overall immersive experience. It’s best considered an interactive performance rather than a solely gastronomic adventure, and the price pointreflects that unusual combination of entertainment and dining.

My wife (Rachel) and I are from Singapore, and we recently visited Genting Highlands and Kuala Lumpur to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After coming across numerous fantastic reviews of the Le Petit Chef dining experience on Instagram, I decided to include it as one of the surprises for her and proceeded with the reservation.

Our dinner was scheduled for 6:00 PM, and I was aware that the briefing would begin approximately 20 minutes earlier. Unfortunately, on the actual day, we encountered severe traffic congestion and only managed to arrive at the Grand Hyatt at around 6:04 PM. I was devastated during the journey, fearing that we would miss the show and that the surprise would be ruined.

To our great relief, we were warmly welcomed by a calm and polite young lady from your team, who promptly escorted us into the dining hall before the show commenced. We were truly grateful and touched that the team had waited for us despite our slight delay.

The quality of both the food and the visual experience were stunning and far exceeded our expectations. My wife was absolutely thrilled with the surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire show, which made me incredibly happy and satisfied as well.

Kudos to your wonderful management team and the emcee for making our anniversary dinner such a memorable occasion. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Warm regards,

We had a truly wonderful evening celebrating my wife’s birthday at Le Petit Chef. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and seamless. The chef and the team were attentive in every way, making sure both my wife and our 5-year-old son felt part of the celebration.

The food was beautifully presented, and they were very careful with dietary restrictions…ensuring our son’s plate was seafood-free. (Though in true 5-year-old fashion, he abandoned his safe plate and made a beeline for the scallops on ours anyway. Clearly, he has expensive taste!)

The atmosphere was magical, the service attentive without ever being overbearing, and the whole experience felt memorable. It’s clear a lot of effort goes on behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly, and it shows.

Thank you once again for making a family celebration feel so special … even if our little one may now demand Hokkaido scallops often as his “kid’s meal” elsewhere!

I’ve been a member of ABC Cooking Studio since 2020, and overall, my experience has been quite enjoyable. The classes are well-structured, and the studio provides a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced cooks. The variety of baking and cooking classes offered is impressive, and I’ve learned a lot over the years.

However, I do miss my previous instructor. They had a unique teaching style that made the classes even more engaging and fun. While the current instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, I found the previous instructor’s approach more suited to my learning style.

A morning in KL well spent with Lili and her mother learning about Peranakan cuisine, and its fundamentals. Lili has set up a lovely cookery class space, is well organised and conducts her classes with a lot of love, care and the spirit of sharing recipes. I was fortunate enough to have the entire session to myself and she graciously invited my husband to join us for lunch (who willingly came and ate everything)

I learned wonderful Kapitan Curry, a delicious salad using ginger flowers,Roti Jala and Cendol! 10/10 recommend this class for anyone visiting KL for an enjoyable morning on your own or as a group. I will definitely return when I’m back

I was really looking forward to try this place after all the wonderful reviews, and I really wanted to like this place. I can’t help but agree with the one not great review and feel compelled to write.
Food was average, not as good as some mentioned.
Found out later they are closed on Monday and Tuesdays, the person explain that’s why a lot of items were “sold out”. Even dessert was not available. Made me almost feel like I was eating leftovers! Fish was not fresh and tasted hard. Ayam buak keluak was ok, not great. I was looking forward to the nasi ulam but it was way too coarse for my liking. Quite disappointed.

We had such a wonderful experience with Chef Jean! From the start, his replies were quick and attentive, making the whole booking process easy.

This was a Christmas gift from our family, and it turned out to be such a valuable and memorable experience. It was our first time baking French cuisine, and Chef Jean made it fun. His kitchen was very well equipped, and he took the time to explain every step in detail—patiently and precisely—so we always felt comfortable and confident.

I especially loved that he demonstrated the process once, and then proceeded to give us the space to repeat the process completely on our own, instead of only showing us how it’s done.

We baked some Choux and a King’s Pie together, which turned out both delicious and enjoyable to make. Chef Jean’s kindness, expertise, and clear guidance made the whole experience so special. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a private chef experience!

Thank you Chef Jean!

And thank you to our lovely family— truly grateful for the experience. ❤️

I was lucky enough that my husband organized a private class for me with Chef Jean. For something I’ve dreaded to try my whole life preparing a WHOLE fish (I am the girl who only buy fish already precut at the supermarket). And cooking a “sauce au beurre blanc” because that’s a taste of my childhood and I was nostalgic.

Chef Jean’s guidance was straightforward and easy to follow. He first showed me on his own fish, then let me do it on mine. It’s not a “show and tell” class, it’s a “show, tell and let them do”. Which is exactly what you need if you want to go home and try it again.

I came home with new skills, new knowledge, and a box of cooked fish and sauce for the kids ❤️ Actually looking at organizing a class for my in-laws now!

孩子感受度很好很喜欢,工作的小姑娘也很nice!缺点就是十二岁以下孩子去的一个家人陪着,另外一个只能在店外呆着。完全可以有一个区域可以安排几个椅子让等的人呆着,不够人性化

We had our daughter’s birthday party at Bakebe Publika and it was the most amazing birthday party i have ever done to my kids. The place is clean, nice, pretty & not hot at all despite the hot ovens. Photos came out good because of the good lighting. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Jo El, Lim & Najwa were very good that they could manage 10 kids at baking different types of cakes ( level 4 baking). All 10 cakes turned out as if professional baker baked them. And the cakes are delicious (i like it cause not too sweet). I highly recommend their place if you want to learn how to bake cake even if you’re beginner. Because even 6 years old kid could do it

Highly recommended place to learn Japanese. I’ve been studying here since 2019. They teach Japanese in a fun, enjoyable way. It doesn’t feel like you’re in a boring school or strict tuition centre that’s stressing out with exams. The senseis are all Japanese, and they’re all really friendly. They teach Japanese language, culture and so much more. They also helped me to pass JLPT N5, N4 and N3. They also helped to arrange for me to study abroad in Tokyo. ILOHA teaches Japan in a great way for all ages. ぜひ学んでみてください!イロハさん、いつもお世話になっていただいてどうもありがとうございました!これからも宜しくお願い致します!

I’ve studied Japanese at ILOHA Japanese Language & Culture Centre for about 4 years. I decided to study here because their website provided enough information. It’s also very near Bangsar Village so before class, I could relax at a nearby cafe first if I want to.

I like it here because the teachers are kind, friendly and helpful. I like that my class is online and physical. I very much prefer physical class because I want to avoid technical issues but when I go on a trip and I couldn’t come to ILOHA, I can also just join the class online.

The lessons are conducted in a way that really encourages you to speak so you can improve and actually speak Japanese. You can also consult them for intensive lesson if your goal is to pass JLPT.

The study pace is quite relaxed so for the people who want to start learning Japanese, don’t worry you’ll learn steadily here.

Been attending Japanese classes at Iloha for 8 years now, from absolute beginner stage to current intermediate-advanced level. The native-speaking teachers at Iloha are very patient, knowledgable and helpful. Classes are structured and organised, combining theory and practical. I believe the course fees are also one of the lowest in KL, providing the best value for money. I highly recommend Iloha for those who wish to study Japanese.
